Friday Evenings 6 - 9.30pm is Steak Night! 2 Steaks and a bottle of Wine for only £16.95! Choose from Rump Steak, cooked to your liking, Char-Grilled Cajun Chicken or Gammon Steak!
Traditional English pub serving home cooked and locally sourced food and a selection of Real Ales. With 2 and a half acres of land, The Gate is situated next to the river Wreake, has a secluded adult only river garden, large children's play area, patio and BBQ area and an additional large field for festivals, charity events, or extra parking. It also prides it's self on it's multi functional function room. It is self-contained with it's own bar and toilets and leads out through patio doors to the stunning river garden which can also be reserved for private events. The Gate has held many weddings, Birthdays, Christenings, anniversaries, Christmas Parties, even corporate meetings and events thanks to it's projector and screen. Live music is also occasionally hosted in the pub or in the garden, weather permitting, details of this can be found on boards in the pub itself or on the well followed Facebook page.
