Useless. Took 5 weeks to actually get our car in to be repaired then they failed to keep to THEIR scheduled date of completion. They couldn't even be bothered to phone and let us know about the delay.
Really no pleasing some people! Had a minor bump in my car and within an hour of it happening L and I eaton had the car recovered and in the garage. The repair was priced and the parts needed ordered the next again day, took two and abit weeks to be fixed up and even delivered the car back to my home address! I received daily text messages letting me know the expected finish date and actually got my car back sooner than expected so I am very happy :) good communication skills with the customer and a brilliant repair job! Car is looking and smelling like new, thanks for the clean and wash! Can't even tell there was any damage to the car at all, thanks again guys you done a fantastic job!
An absolute shocking experience . I had a minor repair to the rear of my car, should have dealt with it my self . Poor service, faults with the car on return and no manager to complain to still waiting on a report of work . The car seemed to have been driven while in for repair . Cant prove it but be aware and take a photo of your dash
I would never use this company by choice and will be changing insurers to avoid them in the future. They failed to collect the car at the promised time even though we had confirmed it with them that morning. At the second attempt they just turned up without any warning. It then took them a week to even bother to look at the car and assess the damage. At that point we were told it would take 2 more weeks to get hold of the parts. All this to just replace a door on a Ford Focus, it's nothing rare...
My car was taken in to the garage, it was in longer than I expected however the staff were helpful and I was kept up to date regular,
after having yet another accident with my vehicle (as i seem to be unlucky in that way ) I was reffered to L&I Eaton by my insurance, Now I have been to a few repairers due to my bad luck however this garage beats them all, my car was collected repaired and deilvered back once ready which usually doesnt happen straight away I have usually had to go to garage to go round damage with someone however my insurer had already advised garage what damage had occured to my vehcle which saved my going in and takng time off work was kept updated through out repair and the quility of repair was great and staff couldnt have been anymore friendlier and helpfull
I had my vehicle in at L&I Eaton Edinburgh for a repair after an accident caused by a third party. My vehicle was collected and repaired and I was also kept informed every couple of days on the progress of my vehicle. My vehicle was also deilvered back to me at a time that suited me and was returned valeted and looking like it did before the accident would recommened this garage and I know that if this was to happen again my car is in good hands
I was refered to L&I Eaton by my insurance company after minor damage being done to my vehicle, I advised garage that I can't efford my vehicle to be off road too long due to long distance travel to and from work each day they advised me to go in for estimate first so they could see the damage and tell me how long they would need the car for. The assesor advised that repairs very minor should only be in for the day. When booking my vehicle in with the reception they advised that I could book vehicle in any day the following week which was great as I was on holiday from work that week anyway so I dropped vehicle off in the morning then went and done some shopping in town and collected later on that afternoon to my surprise vehicle had been cleaned inside and out and looked like new
car was in longer than expected, but updated regualr and car returned with repairs carried out good
I'm only sorry my insurers use this firm. Was advised by the car hire agency to chase them up when they gave me a courtesy car!! Was fairly minor repair work that took over a week to assess and a further 2 weeks to repair. I had to constantly call them for updates and only received a call back once. When asked to speak to Manager was only passed a message back. Called to ask for further update to be told car ready - asked for list of works to be included with receipt for excess payment - will have to call them back about that too and only received a receipt! Seem really disorganised and not convinced they haven't over egged the work. Will be discussing with my insurers (again!) They only get one point for delivering my car back home again and giving it a clean..... eventually!
My vehicle was broken in to and vandalised on the 23rd of February, i then contacted my insurance company. On the following Monday morning, i was phoned by l & i eaton to see if they could collect my vehicle that day as they were pasing the area, rather than the day after. The car was in repair for 5 days, i was kept up to date on the progress and advised my car would be delivered on the 4th. As i wasnt available this day i asked if they could drop the vehicle off at my work address on the 5th, which they did. Happy customer
Good overall repairer, although vehicle was in slighlty longer than expected. The garage advised me before taking my car that due to work loads they were running slightly behind. Kept me update through repairs and returned my car clean looking like new
Took 8 weeks to "repair" my car for minor damage on the rear of the vehicle. The car return with blown electronics, a flat tyre and half of the damage unrepaired.
Worst customer service I have ever had. Initially over 4hrs late picking the car up after arranging for 12 noon. Phone calls never returned as promised I was always chasing them. Promised the car between 1pm and 5pm Friday after they had,had it for two weeks for a minor repair (no new parts required fitting) this never happened. Quick enough to take the excess payment of Â£150 but without delivering the car. You have been warned never take your car here for repair.
Absolutely shocking service! My insurance company contacted the garage on the 19th December 2012 after I was in a car crash. The garage advised my insurance company that they would contact me that same day to arrange a pick up, I then left it two days without hearing anything until I called to chase my pick up. They were very rude and advised they were too busy to pick up my car. I spoke to my insurance company to make a complaint and when they contacted the garage I finally received a date for them to pick up my car. The day of the pick up came and gone. And then another date was arranged instead. Still the car was not picked up. After going back to the garage numerous times they finally picked my car up on the 31st of December 2012. After having my car for three weeks and with no contact from the garage at all about the progress I finally received a letter advising that my car would be ready on the 23rd of January 2013. Again this day came and I still had no contact from the garage.
They were advised by Insurers of car repair job on 22nd Dec 2012, did not collect vehicle till 4th January. As of 17th January still waiting for repair (dent to tailgate to be knocked out and new tailgate window to be fitted) to be completed. Promised phone calls to me to advise of completion date (2 promises given today) result in no phone call. When I phone them I am given contradictory information depending on who I speak to. Do not recommend them to anyone based on my experience so far.
