I would reccomend for the value for money drinks but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Have found other weatherspoon outlets to be better for food.

Superb food, great atmosphere and fantastic real ales, looking forward to taking the family next time I visit the Hopwood Arms 5* to all the staff for fantastic customer service

This place is great, main pub in town so gets a bit busy but the bar staff handle it well. They have some good deals on cocktails and other drinks and it has a good atmosphere.
