So how does it work?
Step 1
Search and find the business you need that features the Nectar logo and call the 0845 number. 0845 is a local rate call.
Step 2
Have your Nectar card ready and when prompted enter the last 11 digits of your Nectar card onto your telephone keypad. Then we will put you through to the business you are calling.
Step 3
When you are connected to the business, 50 Nectar points will be added to your Nectar account just for calling!
It’s that easy. You can collect up to 250 points per week and up to 1,000 points a year just for calling the businesses you need.
Collecting Nectar Points – our Fair Use Policy
- You will receive your points just for making an enquiry to a Nectar advert/listing, your telephone call must be successfully connected to the advertiser – no purchase is necessary.
- You will find the dedicated telephone number next to the Nectar logo at the bottom of a Nectar advert/listing.
- Thomson Local can only issue you with points if you call this number to contact the advertiser.
- Calls to Nectar 0845 numbers cost 4ppm from BT, other providers may vary. Call charges correct at time of going to press.
- During your first call you can choose to have your Nectar card linked to the telephone number you called from, so that your account is automatically credited with points the next time you call a Nectar advert from the same phone. In a small number of cases this may not be possible, but most home and mobile numbers will be recognised.
- Thomson Local will not issue points if a collector’s enquiry to an advertiser is not genuine, or they are abusing the system in any way.
- Thomson Local may amend the offer from time to time.
What you can and can’t collect points on
- 50 points are available from Thomson Local when you telephone any advert/listing in the directory or on ThomsonLocal.com that features a Nectar logo and dedicated telephone number.
- If you call the same advert/listing more than once in a 7-day period you will only collect points on the first call.
- You must provide a valid Nectar card number to collect points.
- Points will only be issued on calls that are connected.
- You can collect up to 250 points a week and a maximum of 1,000 points per year per collector. Your collection year starts when you make your first points collecting call to a Nectar advert.
