I most certainly would not have them do a job on my property They laid a tarmac drive for a neighbour across the road, they Used a picker on a small digger to remove the concrete, at one point they were picking up massive lumps of concrete with the digger then dropping them on the ground to break them up the houses were shaking, they should have broken the concrete into small pieces with the picker first. they knocked the neighbours wall down and there were cracks down the wall in other places which they refused to accept responsibility for, a skilled tradesman would have cut down the concrete with a skill saw adjacent to the wall, before breaking it up , on the plus side they did rebuild part of the wall, but my neighbour told me they refused to acknowledge they had caused cracks further on

I would not use them again, they ripped up my concrete drive by removing massive chunks with a digger, then threw it to the ground to break it, they should have Jack hammered it into smaller pieces , the whole house was shaking, they cracked a dividing wall because they couldnt be bothered to skill saw the concrete adjacent to it before taking up the concrete

After being fobbed off for many weeks and lack of communication we decided to go with another company. Office staff are rude and the customer service is seriously lacking.

Requested a quote several months ago. Advised them several months ago that the work had been authorised. Spoke to the same person who gave quote on his mobile. He passed me off to the office, only to be met with a very rude and ignorant female, who clearly does not enjoy her job. Long story short I went to another company, several months ago who came and did the job within a week. Several months later I get a call from D Haigh, asking about the drop kerb, ( same rude female as before) I advised said work was carried out several months ago. Same rude woman replied, "YOU COULD HAVE LET US KNOW" before hanging up on me. You snooze you lose. Terrible service.

"Alex and the team worked incredibly hard and fast doing my block paving driveway. In addition to the driveway, they put up a gate for me, some raised beds, laid a garden path and a large expanse of concrete for a shed and greenhouse base. They cleared a load of rubbish out the garden too. All in about 5 days Alex understood my vision of what I wanted, and he and his men were at the house from 8.30am until they lost the light at 5pm working flat out; all very pleasant and helpful. Hi. I live in Cheadle Hulme and contacted A. W. Paving Ltd. for an estimate on my driveway. They came straight away, gave and emailed me the estimate. It was the best one so I gave them the job. They arrived on time and were very clean and professional. The work was finished on time. My partner and I are estatic about are new wall, patio and driveway. Overcharged my elderly nan, and then when called to come back to rectify said theyd come back but still no show!

We saw Alex and his team's work when they were working on our neighbours drive and we were very impressed, so had no worries on using him to do our patio at the back and a new driveway. Work was done quickly with removing concrete and rubbish off site and the areas were always left clean and tidy. We would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I saw Alex's website whilst searching for firms doing driveways on Google, after contacting the firm Alex called and arranged an appointment the following day. When Alex was here, he was friendly and professional, stating what would be done to complete the work and a time frame for this. Alex made some recommendations to my questions based on his long experience, I needed a ramp putting in, and what colour would weather the best based on the colour of the house bricks. The work was started and completed in 3 days, the team being efficient and well organised, being courteous when speaking with. I would highly recommend.

Great service. Alex came the same day as i contacted him and gave us advice and a quote and then returned as i had some questions. We agreed a price and they started the same day and finished the next day!!. We are really pleased with the job which was block paving a lawn, the team are efficient, skilled, quick and tidy. I would not hesitate in recommending AC paving.
