How to shop safely online

Did you know that in the last year alone, there was an average of 3.6 million cases of fraud and computer crime in the UK?

That means that almost 1 in 20 people could be a direct victim of cybercrime.

Fortunately this is something the UK Government is taking quite seriously, with plans to invest almost £2bn in cybercrime prevention over the next 5 years.

In the meantime, Thomson Local has teamed up with the Sainsbury’s Money Matters team to provide some practical tips on how you can protect you and your family against cybercrime.
