The new look Thomson Local blog is here and we are pretty excited about it

05 June 2017

Let's be honest, company blogs can be a bit dry. I mean, do you really care that the company is building a brand new £20m office on the Isle of Dogs or that Norman from their marketing department just won another sales award?

Of course not. So pipe it down Norman.

So what makes the new Thomson Local Blog any different?

We write about the things that matter to business owners and consumers like you. This can range from teaching you the basics of SEO so you can improve your website, to helping you wire your first plug in your new home.

Where possible, we keep things jargon free – with no hideous words like “Omnichannel” or buzzword laden marketing phrases like “whiteboard channel web-enabled infrastructures” – what does that even mean anyway?

Want your business to be featured?

We can write an article based on your know-how and give you credit for your contribution, including a link to your website and contact details for readers to get in touch with you.

So if you are a business owner with useful knowledge of your industry, or if you have any hints and tips to share with our readers then we want to hear from you.

Are you a writer?

If you are a writer looking for opportunities to showcase your work then getting your writing featured on the website of a household name like Thomson Local is a great way to do it.

We will give you credit for your contribution, including a link to your website. In the future we will also be adding author pages that feature a bio and examples of the topics that you specialise in.
