I had been mucked about with my garage roof for over a year by a company that hadn't done it properly and there were puddles everywhere, I was worried sick, when luck would have it a leaflet came through my door for ABRS, I researched them online and found that they were one of the top 3 rated local roofers and also noticed that they took credit cards, I gave David a call and one of the first things I admired about him is that as I am an 85 year old lady (but who is still extremely smart and intelligent - note from Thomson Local!), he suggested that I have a friend with me so that when he came over he could go through everything with us, so my neighbours came over and David was very thorough, taking them outside to show them exactly what needed doing. When it came to doing the job David and his team of lovely chaps kept me fully informed, taking before pictures, stripped down pictures and after pictures when they were finished. They also showed me the evidence that the roofing on a passageway between my garage and house was in a state as well. They were all absolutely wonderful, I really can't rate them highly enough, they even took away rubbish that I had lying around that was nothing to do with them plus an old toilet and a heavy old water softener that were just sitting in my garage that I would never have been able to get rid of, and one lovely lad bought in my air conditioning unit for me that I wasn't able to manage on my own, that really meant a lot to me. I have lino between my door and toilet so told them not to bother taking their shoes off to pop to the loo but they still did, all those little things really do add up, they truly went above and beyond anything that was expected of them and I would have them back anytime. We all had a hug when they'd finished and I actually miss having their company around. I really can't recommend them highly enough and they certainly made a good impression down my road, A 10* service

After my mothers passing away, we have had to sell her house but before we could do this we needed some repairs done to the guttering and roof so my brother in law got Able Building and Roofing Services Ltd to come in and do the repairs. They were wonderful, I really can't fault them, they replaced the guttering and a few roof tiles that needed laying back flat. They were so quick with it all and very professional.

We rang round a few roofers for quotes and were so impressed with Able Building and Roofing Services Ltd that those were the ones we went with. After being good enough to come out twice for quotes etc they installed a new flat roof and carried out some repairs and they were excellent, they always turned up when they said they would and were very polite and professional, they also left it cleaner and tidier than I had left it for them! I would absolutely use them again and definitely recommend them to others. I would give them 500 stars if I could, 5 doesn't seem enough!

We recently used ABRS Ltd for what we initially expected to be a repair to our flat roof. However, it quickly became clear that the job was larger than anticipated, requiring some boards to be replaced and all the whole roof to be re-felted. The job was done efficiently and cleanly and I was kept informed of how it was progressing. I was encouraged to view each stage as it was completed and photos were also provided. I can't fault their service the staff are always professional and extremely helpful, when they looked at the porch roof they found the issue was a bit bigger than first thought but they talked me through everything and showed me images of the issue. They were able to repair the issue and I'm extremely pleased with the outcome.

My experience with ABRS Roofing Services Ltd, Finchampstead, was very pleasant, I thought moss was blocking the gutter, however it turned out to be cement from where the edge of the roof was crumbling away. The lads removed all the old cement and replaced it, re-did the felt and batons and even sprayed a water repellent on the roof. It was a much bigger job than expected but worth it as it could have turned in to an even bigger issue if it hadn't have been fixed. I wouldn't hesitate at all in recommending them to others, as I didn't feel under any pressure to use them, I just trusted what they were telling me, Dave has a very reassuring way about him. They also took photos and kept me up to date with what they were doing. And they did a brilliant job cleaning up after themselves, in fact I'd like to have them back in the spring to clean up again! I don't normally give 5 star reviews, but they thoroughly deserve it.

I had a leak into my porch and found Able Building and Roofing Services Ltd, Finchampstead, through our local parish magazine. David was so good, he came round to have a look; I have a chalet-style house and he thought the problem could be more widespread so he checked the rest of the roof and found the leak originated higher up. He was very friendly and kept me in the picture throughout the whole procedure and explained everything in terms I could understand, I feel I'm quite an expert in roofing now! He came round a couple of times while the work was being carried out as well, to make sure everything was going smoothly and the boys were being tidy. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again should I have any other problems with my roof.

I stumbled across Able Building and Roofing Services Ltd completely by chance whilst I was having some work done by a different company. I got talking to them as I was having some issues with my garage roof and they were able to do some repair work to the roof to stop it from leaking as well as replacing the garage door to make a door and window, as I wanted to use it as an office. My overall experience with using them was very pleasant the team came in and large vehicle that had all the equipment they needed to carry out the work and they were professional. I was extremely happy with the good service I received from ABRS Ltd, Wokingham,they came out and completed quite a few jobs for me such as replacing a flat roof on a dormer, they replaced and modified some guttering on my house and cabin and replaced the soffits. The project management was superb and the work was done to a good quality, David supported the team onsite and took pictures of the work throughout to ensure everything was going as it should. Everything was explained to me in good detail and I was kept informed on everything that was going on. The team were professional and turned up on time everyday and left everything tidy upon completion. They came with all the equipment needed for the job such as scaffolding so I didn't have to call anyone else in, everything was all under one company. ABRS came and did some repointing work for me and replaced some tiles. The workmanship was very good, they tidied up regularly and I would certainly recommend. We had a minor issue with some wet mortar that was dropped and not cleaned straight away however they may not have noticed.

I cannot praise David and his team at ABRS Roofing highly enough. On arriving at my elderly Fathers in Henley for Christmas we discovered a leak into the kitchen from the flat roof above. It was the day before Christmas Eve and we struggled to know what to do with it being Christmas time. The next day I contacted ABRS Roofing, having got their number from the Thompson directory. He offered to come out immediately to carry out temporary repairs but we felt the immediate weather forecast didn't make that necessary. But within a week the job was completed. All the old felt removed and replaced to the modern day specifications. The work was started after we had left Henley, to our home 100 miles away. Throughout the job I was kept fully up to date with progress, including photo's, via e mail and telephone conversations. The peace of mind this gave us was immeasurable.
