A popular sight around Maldon and the surrounding areas for the past 28 years, Arrow Taxi is a family run business with Brian Marshall the owner and Kevin Marshall Manager. In total we have between 3040 vehicles, 5060 drivers, five to ten office staff and our very own workshops, which ensure vehicles undergo maintenance on a rotabased system as well as offering a Recovery Vehicle Service. A new computer booking system has improved customer service along with trackers to locate exact positions of vehicles at any time. We are always looking to the future and will use new technology to ensure that we move forward with the times and to meet and exceed our customers' needs. In addition to taxis, we also operate Public Service Vehicles (PSV) minibuses along with Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles. We believe that we are the only taxi operator within the District, offering both Passenger Carry Vehicles (PCV) and Hackney Carriage plated, electriclift wheelchair vehicles. Call for our rates.

What an awful experience. Smoky, uncomfortable taxis but the worst points were 1. They didn't turn up when booked in advance- we called and they came late but we were then late for our appointment 2. They charged us nearly double the price quoted on the phone and were completely lacking in concern when we dared to argue about the price. Never again - there are many other good taxi companies around the area

First time trying to use this company and I won't bother again. I called about 1.5 hours before I needed a pick up from our local station and they asked me to pay in advance which I was happy to do but when we got off the train at our local station the taxi wasn't there. I called and was informed that they had just finished a job but were still 15-20 mins away. The walk home takes about the same time so my husband and i just walked home in the pitch black. Rather infuriatingly, I was told I couldn't have a refund straight away and that I would need to call on the next working day to arrange this. Not happy as I paid in advance in good faith so I feel like I have been ripped off.

They are brilliant, timing, car and service quality are 5 star. Our driver Tony, was very polite and he has comfortable driving skill. Thanks for tonight.

No cab company is perfect, but they are I suppose better than walking. Especially when its raining. Or snowing. Or in a blizzard. Or something like that. Actually, or even when its too hot. They have air-con in most of their motors. Yeah OK, that ain't much use in a blizzard. But it is when its hot. Like it was a couple of weeks back. All sorts of drivers though. Some are stupid, some are OK. I spose much like any other cab company. But, unlike the previous review, I would use them again, but I wont recommend them to anyone, as if I do, they might get too busy and I might not get a cab myself.

Very rude on the phone already! The bloke just put the phone down on me while i was talking to him. Absolutely useless! I will never use them again! And i would never recommend them to anyone!!!
