The Steppes offers award winning accommodation, comprising four en suite boutique style rooms, each individually decorated and each having their own entrance to the outside. Tea and coffee making facilities, including a fridge with fresh milk and water is in each room, plus free Wifi, Freeview TV and hairdryer. Guests are invited to wander around the gardens and find a quiet corner to enjoy the peace and quiet. Lin has her own apiary and if there is honey available it will be on sale. Breakfasts include Lin's home made breads and special breakfast options as well as the traditional full English breakfast! The house is located off road and footpaths are adjacent to the gardens. Dogs are very welcome in our Red and Green rooms.

Power showers relax you before sliding between sheets, freshen you to start the day, or when you come out of the Hot tub in a fabulous setting, candle/fairy lights. Five en-suite rooms "you have thought of everything" hair dryers, dyson air con, shower dispenser, tea/cof box full to the brim to give you that morning cuppa, silent mini fridge fresh milk/water. Water, coffee machine all day service for the lounge/garden lover, mowed lawns & roses in 200 acres.

The Blackbird Inn dates back to 1773, is a rustic traditional country inn with an extensive Restaurant, bar, open fireplaces and lawned gardens for outside dining. There are also 6 quality full en suite rooms, consisting of 4 Kings,1 twin and a cosy double.The Blackbird Inn is well located near Wellington, just off the A38, just 4.5 miles from Taunton and is less than an hours drive from the seaside towns and villages South and North Somerset. The Blackbird Inn is all about providing a relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable time during your stay in Beautiful Somerset. The inn has a country traditional atmosphere extensive open beams, brass fittings and open fireplaces. The Bar is very well stocked with many Local Real Ales, local Ciders, Stouts, Bitters & Lagers, with a comprehensive wine list of wines from around the world. Buckenhill Manor is situated at the end of a long sweeping drive overlooking the town of Bromyard and the Bromyard Downs. We are ideally located for visiting all that Great Malvern, Hereford, Ludlow, Ledbury, Leominster, Worcester and their surrounding areas have to offer.

Five bedrooms, each offering something different. Ground floor bedroom (Mauve Room) is ideal for those persons who have difficulty with stairs. The bedroom has been furnished with double and single sleigh beds, so will sleep up to three persons. It also has disabled access to a wet room. Bedroom 2 (Pink Room) has a king size four poster bed and the ensuite has a bath with a shower over. Bedroom 3 (Blue Room) has a king size french bed with a shower room. Bedroom 4 (Yellow Room) has matching double and single beds and will sleep up to three persons. The shower room being larger than average. Bedroom 5 (Green Room) has a double bed with a shower ensuite. We have a fridge and microwave in the Dining Room for those guests who prefer to stay in and eat. We also provide fresh milk, bottles of water and cartons of orange juice. There is a delightful dining room where guests can enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Breakfast is served between 7.30 am and 9.30 am but the proprietors are willing to accommodate guests if these times are not convenient. The house stands back from the main road with a large area for car parking. Prices start from £35.00 per person when two people share or £40.00 per person for single occupation. Payment is by cash, cheque, bank transfer and we do now take card payments.

We do not provide Breakfast but there are Three early morning Cafe's, within 200 mtrs of the Guest House along with an American Diner a Pub/Restaurant and M&S Covenience Store. More restaurants , Pubs,Take aways and Supermarket are a 5/10 minute walk. The Beach and Promenade which stretches from our location in West Hove right along to the Brighton Pier and on to Brighton Marina is just a stones throw from our front door.
