• After a previously awful experience with a cowboy firm, we were very nervous to begin another house extension. We were recommended Chirton Builders as theyd been labelled high quality and most importantly trustworthy. This is exactly what we found Phil and the team to be. They built us a 2 story extension and did some knock through works in the rest of the house to open things up a bit. Yes there were some unexpected delays and some stumbling blocks, but the communication was always there from Phil and ultimately as a customer whose home and life savings are in the hands of a stranger - communication and trust is key. I cant fault them there. The standard of the work was very high quality, and there were a few chops, changes and additions that we decided upon last minute which Phil and the team took in their stride and delivered upon. I would recommend this firm to anyone, and we will more than likely instruct them on any future works we do to our home. Thank you Phil and team.

• Chirton Building Company has just finished a small extension to Upavon Chapel which is a Grade II Listed Building. The work done is of excellent quality and we are really pleased with the finished results. It was a tricky site due to the proximity of a graveyard at a higher level, but Phil and his team sorted out all the challenges in a professional way. They also showed great care in protecting the chapel itself at all times. Thank you for a good job well done!

• Phil Newman and his team are a first rate building outfit with a real specialisation in cellar conversions. They converted an 800 sq foot cellar from a damp space that could not be used for anything other than wine storage to a superb home cinema, gym and utility space incorporating natural light, an innovative removable staircase balustrade, totally waterproof tanking and ventilation to every room. The price was super value for money, Phil's team of Richard, Martin and Simon are A grade craftsmen and always cheerful. Phil is very honest and professional. I am delighted with their work and its added huge value to our house and the way we live in it. I cannot recommend Chirton builders highly enough.

• We have had significant work done on our old cottage over many years by Chirton Building Company. From significant structural rebuilding and dampproofing, through new windows and external doors, to new heating system (including underfloor), plumbing, electrics, insulation on solid walls, replacement floor tiling, painting and decorating. Throughout, Chirton Building Co have been excellent. Very good communication at all times, very good and conscientious workmanship, all carried out in sympathy with the building. We would thoroughly recommend without reservation.

• After we were let down by two other Builders we found Chirton. Phil was very helpful and Richard and Martin and cleaned up after work everyday.The whole team were professional, respectful and polite.
