Domestic Appliance Repairs in UK

Kind and attentive service for my Mum who is 101. Advised him that machine was probably OK, but that she was worried. Checked and reassured her. No charge, much appreciated.

My oven was not working after a short circuit with exhaust fan of cooker. The exhaust was sorted after a change of fuse, but oven would not work. I happen to call appliance doctor if they were able to come out and fix. However he just asked me questions whether clock numbers were still appearing on my oven and i told it was flashing zero and he just advised me to reset the clock and oven should work, which it did after resetting the clock. It saved me from calling out and paying for someone for a simple job. I am thankful for the advice and I do feel they are very reasonable people to contact for any jobs if needs doing.

Had very honest advice.....on the phone....that a visit would be a waste of my money as the problem was my washing machine was not worth repairing. Thank you very trustworthy

We have used the Appliance Doctor on several occasions in the past 8 years. Excellent service; great repairs; extremely knowledgeable and fair price. Would recommend without hesitation. Deserves to be used.

Fabulous service from Fields and would not go anywhere else for white goods. Just had a new washing machine installed. Super job, all staff were so helpful and accommodating. All very knowledgeable. The old washing machine was taken out and the new appliance instillation was so quick and efficient. All made possible by two lovely gentlemen. There really is nowhere better to shop. My old oven died Fields fitted a new one for me the same day, plus the fitting was free. Comet Currys wanted to charge me over 80. I will always be shopping Fields so will my family

Dishwasher failed pm Thursday (pump) - repaired and fully functioning by 1pm Friday. Fantastic service and very reasonable cost. Highly recommend for all your domestic appliance repairs.

Steve been my go-to for repairs and advice for several years. Very efficient and knowledgable, fair charges and a genuinely nice guy to have working in your home. If Steve is busy Id rather wait than call anyone else.

Problem with the oven tripping the main RCD, dropped a request to Bryans Domestics and received a response within about half an hour. He popped round the same day and was only in the house 10 minutes. All done and dusted with a new heating element and a very reasonable bill. Fantastic response and a really nice chap, many thanks Bryan !

I left a message on the website on Sunday night on behalf of my nana and by Monday morning someone had rang her and arranged the best time to come by and fix her appliances! She was made up with the service and all is fixed within three days! Cant fault anything at all, the gentleman was lovely also! Thanks

Steve was very quick to respond to my call for help. On his first visit he promptly diagnosed the problem and arranged to order the required spare part, which arrived in a week. On his second visit, he installed the new part and tested the machine to ensure it worked properly. Two things about the service provided by Steve stand out to me - he was friendly and reliable and his pricing was very competitive. I highly recommend you give him a call.

Excellent Customer Service . PH Services supplied and fitted a Washing Machine over 4 years ago for my elderly Parents. Recently the Machine was not completing the spin cycle correctly. After phoning and leaving a message I was called back and the Owner ( I think) visited and repaired the machine in under 15 minutes but refused to take a payment. As you can imagine most other firms would insist on a minimum charge for any visit. Would definitely use again but would not expect a free repair LOL.

Poor choice of indoor AERIALS SORRY I thought you would have more stock kind R egards.

On our very old Pioneer TV stopped working. This man John Smith was amazing. He came and took it apart and felt sure it was the power board. He located a new one online and I purchased it for about £30. When it came, he replaced the faulty board and it all worked. It was a very difficult job, very heavy, masses of screws even to get the case off. He is a real expert and honest and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

As per phonic talk i went personally with my car radio repair ,he checked manually. he don't know how to sort out aerial problem. Unable to do anything and charged too much(cash-no receipt0 for not doing anything so make sure before to job with him. I never find this type of experience anywhere.. Bharat Mehta

I called John Smith and asked him to come and look at my broken B&O TV. On the day he had arranged to come, I changed my mind and called him to say I was thinking about my options and not to come, but he persuaded me that it could be an easy fix. He came at 1 ish and looked at the TV and said it could be a board inside the TV. I took it off the stand (v heavy) and he got his screwdriver out and took the back off. He pointed to a component which he called the the T-Con board and said it could be that, but there was no guarantee. He said "if you are good at googling can you find one online". I searched for the part (without success) while he had a cup of tea, used the loo and then advised me that it might be a good idea to buy a complete TV which I had found while searching. He put the back of the TV on and I put it on the stand, now 2:55pm! He had removed 15 screws and put them back. "What do I owe you John?" "2 hours at £35 an hour + £70 call out" £140 for that!! Avoid, avoid, AVOID.

John was absolutely fantastic and overall did a very professional job. I took my beloved Stanton T.92 turntable which I sort of already knew it blew a few internal components including main glass 0.5 amp fuse, but wasn't sure to what extent (my fault really... long story), so very patiently & meticulously he eventually found out it had blown other internal miniscule fuses, and got it fixed. All done and dusted within 2 hrs, while I waited. Well worth the trip, time and money spent to get the job done. Highly recommended! Cheers John!! 10/10
