Unsworth's Funeral Service are a caring and compassionate family owned funeral directors based in the North West, are an independent, family owned, funeral directors for Leigh, Hindley Green, Atherton and Culcheth. Whether dealing with the death of a loved one or planning ahead to ensure peace of mind, Unsworth's funeral service offer a considerate, comprehensive service. We opened our first funeral home in May 1993 and have grown steadily over our years in service. We currently have funeral homes in Hindley Green, Leigh, Atherton and Culcheth. We consider it a privilege for us to be asked to take care of a funeral service for a family and we do our utmost to carry out their wishes to the best of our ability. If a family requires a special type of coffin we can provide it. We also have contacts to be able to arrange horse-drawn funerals, motorbike sidecar funerals, specialist funeral vehicles i.e. white hearse, vintage hearses, American Cadillac hearses. All our funeral homes are comfortably furnished, with private viewing chapels. Please call us today for advice or more information.

Jackie and her team were so caring and supportive when we lost my dad to Covid19. From the first call to them they took the strain from us, advising on restrictions etc and handling all the arrangements promptly... always professional but with a caring personal touch. The day of the funeral ran very smoothly and we were supported every step of the way. Thank you so much, we are so grateful.

I have recently unfortunately lost my Mum to COVID19 which was hospital acquired and from the initial contact with Unsworths I felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders by Darren, the undertaker from Hindley branch. He was good enough to explain what would happen when under current Coronavirus legislation in layman's terms without being condescending in any way, and was approachable in every way on what is already a difficult time. The day of the funeral went as smoothly as it could and I felt supported every step of the way. Thank you to you Darren and to your colleagues for the exceptional service you provide, I would be glad to recommend you! Thank you Karen Pendlebury.
