Hairdressers in Baldock, Hertfordshire

Lovely salon great value and very friendly, and brilliant with kids. They also do a thorough allergy test before colouring for new clients. No hesitation recommending them!

Haircut was ok but not an overall enjoyable experience when having my hair washed in freezing called water! Was left shivering afterwards and now have a cold. Not what you would expect from a professional hair salon! Was told they'd run out of hot water as they had been particularly 'busy' that day. Thought that excuse was very poor. Have been to much busier salons and have never had my hair washed with cold water before! They didn't even seem that bothered or horrified at the thought of how unprofessional that is. I asked for a discount when it came to paying and was flat out refused saying it was just bad luck that I'd come at a time when the water was cold! Was left wondering, am I overreacting? But I honestly don't think I am. I don't think it's too much to expect hot water. Anyway, I wouldn't go back purely on principle. It wasn't so much the refusal of a discount, but more the lack of remorse. Will have to continue my search for a decent hairdressers to go to in Hitchin.
