Needed a quick change of a door lock. The contact and booking process was prompt, customer services rep was courteous and I was kept updated about the time of visit. The technician was there in time and went about his business promptly replacing the lock, giving good advice about operation/ replacement/ warranty. Just be mindful that at booking you'd be told that there would be no call out charges (which is correct) and the labour charge rate (excluding parts) is per hour or a part there of. Mine took just 30 minutes but was charged at full hour which I was ok with but just something to keep in mind. I would utilise their services again and recommend them for good quality of service.

In a major rush to get out of the house this morning, I managed to take the wrong set of keys… that sinking feeling when you shut the door and realise you've locked yourself out is the worst! Luckily I had my phone on me and after a quick Google search, I found Keytek. A brief call with a friendly advisor and hey presto - a locksmith was with me within half an hour and I was back in the house! The locksmith Ed was great and, for a small extra fee (the charge for basic lockout like mine was £89+VAT), he actually changed the whole lock as we'd been having trouble with it sticking for months. Overall it was a stress-free experience (as far as being locked out can be!) and through Keytech I have now found a trusty local locksmith if I ever get caught out again

We needed an emergency callout after the mechanism in our door lock broke. The person in customer service was polite and friendly and was quick to come out to help. They were able to give us an estimated time when they would arrive and also give regular updates. The work was carried out, and we have arranged for the door handle and mechanism to be fully replaced in the future.

We thought one of our grandsons had locked the antique desk drawer which both my parents had used. We looked everywhere for the missing key but in the end gave up. The locksmith managed to open the drawer without doing any damage at all and the key was inside! I would never have left the key in the drawer if I had known how the lock worked. What a relief - I can now get my valuables out and put elsewhere.
