I found this company via Google and dealt with Lewis directly - I found thier service to be reliable on drop off, accomadating after needing the digger for a longer period and punctual with its pick up - def recommend this company - terrific service !

I found Lewis Digger Hire in Romford through Thomson Local, they're an absolutely brilliant firm, I can't rate them highly enough. I'm a drainage and plumbing contractor, we do have a digger, however this was out on another job and needed a digger that was local and could come immediately. Lewis Digger Hire were available and Lewis himself came to operate it for us. They asked the permission of the house owner to drive across their lawn to get to the hole, which impressed me and their kit was in brilliant condition and very clean, so they take pride in their equipment, which I always find is a good sign of professionalism. I'm actually having an extension of my own built and was that impressed with them, I've got them in to do that. I don't usually recommend other traders, but I'm very happy to do so in this case, they were a truly outstanding company to work with.

Lewis Digger Hire asked me to text them what I wanted and I put in mini digger, however I actually wanted a micro digger and they knew this as they spoke to my cousin and he explained that we needed one that would go through a doorway, he turned up with the mini digger but I explained I needed the micro digger and although i went to pick this up myself he still wanted to charge me for it, then when I took it back they sprang another £10 charge on me for fuel, good company but they shouldn't have any hidden charges. I would use them again but only if I knew exactly what I was going to be charged for.

The service was excellent as was the communication, they called ahead to let me know when they were going to deliver and also called me the night before to let me know when they were going to pick the digger up. I've needed various sized diggers and they delivered them to me and also sent a driver to operate them as well. Myself and my partner hired a small digger from Lewis Digger Hire, Romford. We gave them a call and they delivered the digger on the same day, so great service. It was self drive, so my partner drove it. We hired it for 6 days in total and they were really good about picking it up again, they worked around us and our work schedule and collected it at a time to suit us. If we ever need a digger again we'd definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.
