Dreadful company, failed to show up after 4 phone calls

Cheerful and knowledgeable, got my boiler running again with no fuss. Your operative was very friendly and managed to solve the problem in about 20 mins.

Professional from start to finish told us what he had done, tidy and polite and turned up within the time he promised

Truly terrible service, I think the main problem with this company is they are country wide so some areas might be good but you cannot rely on that. I was charged for 2 hours labour for 1 hour 9 minutes work and he has n't even fixed the problem. I am left with a hole hammered through my upstairs hallway and the leak through my ceiling is still present. He had no idea what he was doing and it cost me hundreds of pounds.

Very dishonest company. We needed an electrician for an emergency situation. We told them what was needed before he was sent out. The guy came out looked over our fuse box , looked absolutely confused as to what to do. I was immediately uncomfortable having this confused person work on what was an already dangerous situation. He explained how he couldnt do the work because it was very complicated and he even needed a handyman to dig up the front garden. After 10mins I took him out of his misery and asked for a quote. The so called electrician then spends the next hour and ten minutes typing up a quote. I got tired of having him in my house doing nothing, so I asked if he was done with the quote and if I could have it. He said to me the office now have the scope of works and they will send me the complete quote. They proceed to still bill me for a whole hour plus VAT (£133) even though he had decided 10mins in he couldnt do the work. We waited a couple of days for the quote, heard n

The locksmith who came to me did a great job. I called a few who were clearly rip off cow boys . Keys4u Northampton was my 3rd call as it was 3rd on the list. I called him at 5pm and he came within the websites stated time of 30 minutes. The price was good for the work I needed doing and the locksmith was so helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately we were one of many effefed by the freezing temperatures earlier this month (March 2018). Our condense pipe to our boiler had frozen, and we called out Alloy Plumbing, they came out immediately and sorted the problem. The engineer was Polite & kept us well informed throughout, the price of the emergency call out was cheaper than other companies we had called prior to Alloy. Highly recommend.

Our experience is very similar to others who have reviewed this company. I would say they are a combination of incompetent an dishonest. They turned up once and failed to diagnose the problem. The second time they damaged our kitchen with drain acid, then denied it was them! Still trying to get proper compensation. Avoid at all costs.

I am not sure if they are dishonest, fraudulent or incompetent. Misrepresenting work as needing to be done when it clearly doesn't is a criminal offence. I asked them to assess a leaking bath. Charged £96 for an assessment visit. Told there was a rotting frame no longer supporting the bath. Clearly not true because sealant still intact and when I removed bath side (which they didn't do) it was all normal. Quoted £1000 for 3 days work to fix frame to stop the leak. Real problem was twisting tap control needed tightening which I did in 10 minutes. I wrote to them asking for my money back. Was told they would look into it. Still looking! Best to avoid. I think they took advantage of young tenant who showed them the bath. I've reported them to the police.

They have proved completely unreliable, untrustworthy and clearly exploited the fact that I was not on site to charge me as much as they felt they could get away with, without even my consent! I am now trying to obtain a refund through my credit card company. We had a leak in our rented property so I booked an appointment for that afternoon. I received a voicemail later stating that £195 had been charged to my card! No explanation, no request for my consent, nothing. I spoke to them the next morning and was told that the job was not complete, so I booked a visit for Saturday. Nobody turned up, no phone call. On Monday I requested my money back for the appalling service, and the difficult position they left us in with our tenant. They refused this. My wife called later to understand the nature of the problem and was told that the extra work required would take about another 2 hours to complete. We employed a local plumber to visit, who completed the work within 20 minutes.
