At Neil Carson Stone Walling & Landscapes, we specialise in the highly-skilled profession of traditional stonework and have done for over 28 years. Based in Leyland, Lancashire, most of the projects we work on are within a 30-mile radius, but we have travelled to North Wales and Yorkshire for larger projects. We have the skills and resources to take on any type of stone construction project you need for your home and garden. We will provide you with a free quote and a diagram of the plans so you know exactly what to expect. Some of the stone additions we create include walls, pillars, flagging, patios, driveways, facing, fireplaces and custom sculptures. We use a variety of stones to create a design, which makes it completely unique for every project. These include granite, sandstone, limestone and slate. We can offer a range of different pointing techniques to give the project the finish you desire. We make sure to fully excavate and prepare the ground before we work so that your stonework will stand the test of time. As well as stonework, we also carry out hard landscaping, turfing, fencing, water features and much more. We first had Neil here to reinstate all our existing wooden retaining walls & steps in our garden - an extensive job! What a difference its made, absolutely superb job, truly a master of his skill, from the stone walling, cobbled edging & steps to beautiful details like a little archway over a huge pipe which starts our stream, working in the water was no problem for Neil! Its an absolute pleasure to walk down there now, we just love the work hes done. We then had him back to create a gravel path edged with cobbles from the house up to our paddock and again to cobble around all the borders in the garden - again what a difference, amazing work! Once Neil says hes starting hes always there never late or leaves your job to start another, he sees it through until finished, rain or shine .... the mans a machine!! Fuelled with cups of tea hell work non stop for hours. In short ... An amazing work ethic, true master of his skill and such a nice man - what more can you ask for.
