Used to be quite reliable. Now when I order a cab they usually say about 10 minutes. After 20 mins I call back and they say hes round the corner, should be with you in a few minutes. I give it another 15 mins then call again, they usually say, “hold on a minute Ill see where he is, oh yes hes a few minutes away”, then I receive the first text to say the taxi is on its way. When it arrives it usually drives to the other end of the road, cant even be bothered looking for a door number so you have to go chasing down the road after it. I always ask the driver how long ago they got my booking and its always just now. Its the same story every time so Ive finally lost patience.

Very poor in recent weeks. Seem to have drivers who dont know way around especially for the airport. Theyve become too big and forgotten what good service is.

Stranded at Manchester Airport at 1.30 am after Elton Bullitt failed to trun up. I arranged to be picked up from Manchester Airport Terminal 1 at 1.25am a week prior to leaving on holiday. I provided them with Jet2 flight number, time of arrival and my mobile number. I eplained to them that I was returning from abroad and wanted to make sure that it was all booked and on their system. When I arrived back into the UK they hadnt texted to tell me the vehicle was on its way. I rang to speak to them as I was waiting outside the terminal building and was told the taxi was coming at 2.15am.. I asked why when I had booked it for 1.25am and had double checked they had the time prior to me leaving for holiday. they then told me it would be 10 minutes. I waited in total for 45 minutes. Disgraceful service. I would recommend anybody thinking of using them to find an alternative. when the driver eventually turned up he told me traffic was bad- seriously on an empty motorway at 1.25am.

Have used this firm for years but never again. Left a bag in a cab when I eventually got it back(after being barked at by male operator who I asked to track it down) the birthday card that was in it had disappeared, the wrapping paper that my gift was wrapped in was nowhere to be seen and the boxed birthday cake my friends had bought me was opened with a chunk missing! Avoid

We used the service whilst visiting Parklife festival. We pre paid and pre booked, and called in the afternoon to confirm our booking. Come 11:30, when the taxi was booked for, no call, nothing. We contacted the office and was was met on the other end of the phone by the most pig headed, arrogant young man I have ever encounter, who proceeded to hang the phone up on me 20+ times. After so much ringing and complaining the taxis eventually turned up closer to 2am! Ridiculous! Keep away!

Booked a taxi with Elton Bullit to Lancaster Court to leave at 23:20. At 23:07 I called to let them know the road we booked to leave from is completely cut off, so we agreed a new pickup location. They said they would contact the driver and he would call us. At 23:24 we called again to say he was a little late and he hadnt called us. The operator said he would call the cab driver again to get him to contact us. At 23:44 we called again, to say we had not been picked up and the cab driver hadnt called us. It is now 00:26, and the driver has not called or turned up. We have tried to call Elton Bullit but our calls are not being put through to an Operator. We are now stranded in the middle of Manchester, at 00:30 in the morning, with no method of transport back to a safe location and no contact from the taxi driver or the operating staff. Terrible experience.

Exactly the same as Chris. We ordered a taxi on 28th July to travel to the East Lancashire Railway for a meal celebrating my husband's birthday. It was 18:35 and pouring with rain. It still hadn't turned up by 18:45 and after ringing them and being assured it was on its way we then waited until 18:55 then my husband drove. My husband texted the company and has yet to receive the courtesy of a reply. We have used this company in the past and apart from one problem - the driver being difficult about putting the ramp down for a passenger who had recently suffered a stroke - we haven't had a problem. The experience last night has put us off using them again - meals on the ELR are not cheap, though worth the money for the quality, and we nearly missed the train.

1st and last time we use them. For my partner's x0th birthday we booked a meal, ordering a taxi for 6:30. Waited until 6:45 and they hadn't turned up, so had to drive and couldn't have a drink with the meal. No phone call from them. USELESS

Got taxi from outside hospital to home charged 13 pounds by elton bullit cab 69... Have never paid more than 8 pounds by several other taxi firms for same trip. Do yourself a favour use a different taxi firm this one use meter way over priced.

Praised this firm this morning, this evening poor service, as I got off the tram I received text to say your taxi arrived to find 2 Elton taxi neither of them mine, so obviously someone pitched it, then I rang again they sent another taxi and wasn't mine but took me anyway, poor service

I am 7 months pregnant and Driver 100 was 20mph over the speed limit. Talking on the phone whilst driving therefore wasn't really concentrating and he was extremely rude and nearly caused an accident due to not concentrating! Disgusting service. I would not use this company again and certainly wouldn't recommend them!
