    • On Friday a Speedline Taxi (reg DY12 XHE) stopped outside my house, the driver then got out the taxi, walked across the road and started urinating in the bushes.. This being a busy residential area in broad daylight with children playing in the area, when challenged the driver was very abusive and rude, despite contacting Speedline twice they have failed to respond, as each time I am promised someone will call me back.. Clearly this company hires poor quality drivers and has little regard to how poorly the are represented in the local area... Avoid at all costs.

    • This taxi service is more of a dial and pray service, what happened today in particular has annoyed me the most, hottest day of 2018 so far, June 25, hottest hours of the day, 15:00 to 17:00, it was 15:18 I booked the taxi, approx. 16:00 it arrived. about 45 mins in roasting weather in a tux. I wish I could leave zero stars but I see no obvious way.

    • I called a taxi for my friend and they had to get the cash from the cash point, because they took a while i had the driver ringing me having a go! So i called the office and got told to f**k off! I calles my friend and they had just gpt back to the taxi to pay the driver! I will never be using again! Disgusted

    • Terrible experience. Booked in advance by phone and offered postcode. Was told they didn't need it as the driver would know where it was. I explained the adult travelling (with children) hadn't been there before and wouldn't know the way so could I give them the address. They said no, no need. Quote was £15, they got lost for 40mins, refused to stop and ask directions though my father asked numerous times. Drove randomly. Charge my dad £25. He handed it over before I ran out to the car. Wouldn't give me back my £10. Driver contacted office. Both were vile and rude. Bullying. Awful. Excuses and lies. Dishonest. After 25mins and the threat of the small claims court he gave me back £5. Thank goodness I never have to use them or speak to them ever again.

    • Really sad as a disabled customer, I was left in the freezin* cold and dark for over 20mins, then the driver turned up, saw my wheelchair and drove off, saying my taxi is 2mins away!! In tears due to cold and pain, another taxi turned up, trashed my shopping and precious artwork from children, then broke my wheelchair by ramming the boot down on it, not once but three times, despite m3 shouting to him and begging him to please stop breaking my wheelchair. Why, why is that ok? I am now completely stuck, what has changed Ash Cars? What changed to make the service so poor now?

    • My daughter called the night before and booked a taxi for me to be picked up at 10.45am the following morning. At 10.50 we attempted to call them but could not get through and they did not show up at all. I missed an important appointment due to their non-existent service. Exceptionallly poor.

    • Rang @ 23:45.... Was told taxi would be about half an hour ie about 00:15.. driver will phone or text when he is here. By 00:25 no taxi so rang back and was told he was on his way but was coming from a long way.. will be there soon. By 00:45 still no show so rang back...this time no answer. Our friend had to get his neighbour to take us home. Sent email to firm asking for an explanation but no reply after 4 days... If you want a taxi firm you can rely on to get you home late at night ...this is not the one to use.

    • First they put the phone down on me to giggle with someone in the office. Stupidly I rang back. Driver was the ruddest driver I have ever had. Would not let me use the boot for 3 large shopping bags and then tried to drive miles out of the way because he only wanted to drive on major roads. Could not recommend them in the slightest and will not use again.
