Watched one of their drivers in a mini van do a silly and dangerous overtake on a roundabout, phoned up to complain/inform them of their drivers dangerous driving and the owner couldnt careless, his response was pretty much “everyone else drive stupidly why cant we”, how are they professional drivers?! I wouldnt get in a car with them!

    • I use Star Cars quite regularly and they are the best taxi service I have ever used. I will Not go anywhere else. The drivers are very polite and always carry my shopping to my door and help me in and out of the car. They are always on time and get me to and from my destination without any problem.     • British driver just collected my partner and drove her home. Talked about how he used to be a photographer and continued to say how she had an amazing body and would like to take photographs of her. Disgusting perverted service! I will be contacting the manager Andy Wheeler in the morning. And can only hope and pray that I get to meet the driver

    • Received phone call from this company at 23.30 saying my cab was outside. I hadn't booked a cab and in fact the phone call woke me up and when I said as much the caller hung up. I rang 1472 and got this company's phone number 333333 to ask why they'd rang me and they denied ringing to the point of saying they can't make outgoing calls! Dodgy, no apology or explanation.

    • Unreliable, argumentative and unwilling to fix their mistakes. Had prebooked a taxi following a wedding. It never appeared and when called, argued it had been their for half an hour. It turned out they'd stopped at a venue half a mile up the road, kept telling me they were at the marquee (there was none at our wedding) and had already picked guests up there (they probably had but not us, not from our venue). Were unwilling to send a taxi back to the correct postcode which was given from the start and left us stranded at 1 am. Options are slim in the area but try to avoid this lot if at all possible.

    • Awful. Taxi was 30 mins late so we were late home for the babysitter. Driver didn't apologise. Driver nearly lost control of the car on the way home. And he charged £10 to get the sitter home when other firms charge £6. Appalling service.

    • Booked the same journey last week St Budeaux to Plymstock with another firm and it cost £10. Unfortunately I couldnt remember which firm I used so booked it with need a cab. This time it was £13. An increase of 30%. They did the slightly quicker route , but obviously the longest mileage. Unfortunately my 81 year old mum didnt know the difference so didnt say anything , but a taxi driver should have. Shame on them for ripping off a 81 year old.

    • Dont use, I left my bag in the taxi (daytime) and rang them 15mins later to be told it wasnt in there. When I questioned it they said “nothing they can do” I'm appalled at the attitude of the female controller and when I asked for her name she refused and said she was too busy.

    • Pre booked for last night any time between 1845 &1900.Wife rang at 1910 and was told by a rude man that its 5 mins way. I rang at 1915 was told that's its 5 mins away, sorry we are over booked. How can they be over booked when you book 3 days in advance. Typical of this company and at this time of year, will never use again and would not recommend to anyone.

    • Booked a taxi an hour in advance, giving myself 20 minutes extra time to catch a train but even after several calls they turned up with less than 5 minutes before the train was due to leave. Very poor, they even hung up on me the third time I called. Do not use.

    • Used this taxi firm for the first time tonight. It is the best taxi ride I've had in years. I was sent a text with the vehicle details and driver's name. The driver, Malt Loaf, was a great driver, it's the first time I've felt safe in a taxi for many years. Other taxi firms are often late and some of the drivers drive far too fast and jump traffic lights. I will definitely use this taxi firm again. 10/10

    • Terrible service. Very rude woman on the phone. I needed to book a wheelchair access taxi to take my sick Dad from Derriford Hospital home to see my terminally ill Mum and the woman told me she couldnt sort a taxi unless I gave her dimensions of the wheelchair - I said it was just a standard sized push wheelchair but that wasnt good enough she snarled sourly etc etc. Not a nice experience. No such info needed from other taxi companies.
