Taxis in CB9

I have used Courteous Travel for over 3 years and they really are what they say they are; Courteous . If they cannot make a journey, they always provide a suitable alternative. They are not expensive and remarkably provide a value add of ancillary services which has never been provided by any other taxi company that I've used, ie. Bottle of water and a pint of milk when you get off the plane in case there's nothing in the fridge on your return home. Also, negotiating a comparable price with a suitabe taxi company when they aren't able to take on a journey. They are also friendly and kind.

1st class. Punctual, clean minibus, polite driver both ways. Milk, bread and water on our return was a great and unexpected bonus. Will definitely use them again

Absolutely fantastic experience. Took us to Luton and back, was there on time with good communication and we were also given a bottle of water each after our flight. Would recommend to everyone, best taxi service I have had so far.

Very shocking experience, like the person above i had a truly awful encounter with the lady in the office, finding her to be very unreasonable and quite rude, her attitude was despicable and the driving standards of the taxi cab driver was just as bad, will never use again and would advise other to avoid at all costs.

Absolutely awful organisational skills, customer service and delivery of service. The office staff were very rude and unhelpful, and despite me phoning three times they still sent the taxi, twice to the wrong place. I stand here in the freezing cold, watching my breath mist before me and still don't have a taxi!

Do not use this company, you have been warned. Booked a cab for 23:15 and after finally getting hold of them @ 23:45 we was told it arrived at 23:21. A taxi went past the house around that time but unless they expected us to jump in a moving car I don't accept that as an arrival. No call no text nothing. Can't give zero stars so 1 will have to do.

Agree with the other rating. We booked for 10.30 and it turned up at 11.25! We won't be using them again. No communication and no apology despite the same cabby on the way back! Use them if you're desperate but not otherwise.

If you don't mind a taxi turning up ten minutes or later than you ordered it then Pride cars are a good choice

My experience with D&T private hire, is that of reliability, comfort, friendliness.I have always found the company a Helpfull kind always willing to assist in time of need. Excellent experience with De'Vere cars taking us to the airport. The driver was lovely and chatty. Upon return our flight was delayed by 7.5 hours and the driver and I communication via Txt along the way. The driver kindly waited until we arrived. Cannot fault such and excellent service!

Can not recommend this taxi firm as they fail to turn up on time and cause our daughter nothing but stress she is often up to an hour late for college.

23 minutes late picking me up for a run to Audley End. Called them after 15 minutes and they had forgotten about it. When they did eventually turn up had the cheek to charge full price. Not only missed my train but the one after too. Rubbish service, I will not use them again

Taxi fares are cheap! They arrive in short time, I like their service a lot! Certainly reliable always!
