Brilliant service always!! I bet I can book one now for tonight...new years eve....they always so accommodating wouldn't travel any other way....thank you hedge end cabs

I booked a cab in advance to collect me from my sister's house at 11:30 to get a train from Hedge End Station at 11:50 (a mere 5 minutes away). The taxi phoned to tell me they were outside at 11pm. I explained that I wasn't ready to leave yet and that I have booked the taxi for 11:30. The driver said ok, and left. I called the company to ensure a taxi would be there at 11:30 as requested, and the response was essentially that I had turned away the only cab available - another one wouldn't be along for 45 minutes. I said I'd booked it for 11:30, and I was told I categorically had not and that another cab would not be arranged. I spent my remaining 30 minutes with my sister phoning cab companies and arranging transport to the station. As if I would arrange to be stood in 2 degree temperatures for 45 minutes unnecessarily...

After booking at taxi for 2.15pm, we waited until 2.30pm until calling to ask where our cab was. The office explained that the driver had arrived, knocked on the door, heard no response, and left. Nobody had the initiative to just call the number with which the booking was made, they simply saw fit to leave. When the cab finally arrived at 2.45pm, I explained the situation and how problematic it was, and the driver - Denise - sarcastically remarked "do you want a cab or would you rather walk" and was extremely rude to use throughout the journey. Will never be using this company again.
