I have been using Gilbert's over 25 years now.

Really bad, booked with disabled needs explained this was assured of help, but the drive refused any assistance - so mean spirited - what a horrible company

Paid for group booking gave them a tip in advance big mistake driver miserable & wanted more money give Gilbert a wide berth.

I found the whole experience excellent. The website looks great. Payment was made by card over the phone and the pickup from home to the airport and then back again was very smooth and efficient which all helps to take the stress out of travelling. Taxi driver didn't had a contactless payment option, so he had to call to headquarters and I had to tell all personal credit card info by phone for dispatcher. I dont think it is even legal. Car smelled like rubbish bin.

Shockingly Bad. I pre booked the taxi for 1:40 to transport wedding guests. The taxi failed to turn up on time. I called them 3 times to find out when it will turn up, each time they said 5 minutes. The taxi eventually turned up 45 minutes late. Instead of apologising for being late the driver ranted its not his problem, offended some of the passengers and then proceeded to put his headphones in so he didnt have to listen to us complain. That was not the end of it. Unfortunately we had pre booked the return journey with them. Half way home between Thame and Aylesbury, in the middle of the countryside the driver decided to up the price by £2 or he would ditch us. We were a large group but could you imagine if this was a vulnerable person late at night? They did not offer us any compensation or discount. Not even an apology. I will never use this disgrace of a taxi company ever again. It is my hope that you will read this and neither will you.

Almost didn't book this taxi company because of bad reviews but they were 5star!! Took us from aylesbury to Oxford and back to Leighton buzzard. On the night they were very accommodating when I needed to change the pick up time/location. Prices extremely reasonable!! Would recommend!

Taxi booked by Chiltern railways due to cancelled train. Driver arrived very late (at Aylesbury) and passengers and myself missed connection at Princes Risborough (last train that night). Driver had been told to drop people off at stations between but would only go to P Risborough and then abandoned folks there!

Rip off merchants. Charged 10 for a 5 minute journey down the road. Driver was miserable and turned up late.

Inconsiderate and antisocial business. Instead of using a commercial depot they leave their huge fleet of vehicles parked in residential streets, depriving local residents of parking. Despicable, rude and just not on, but they just dont care.

Anti social company. They leave so many taxi cars and long wheel base busses left parked up all over town in already over crowded residential streets, annoyingly depriving residents from being able to park their cars near their homes.. Get a depot for all your vehicles.

On Thursday morning, 6 July 2023, I booked a taxi for 14.30 hrs to go to Bierton Crematorium for a funeral commencing at 15.00 hrs. Bierton is usually only a 10 minute drive from my house so I thought we would arrive in plenty of time. However, when the taxi had not arrived by 14.35 I phoned Jet and got a pre-recorded message saying my taxi had been despatched. After another 5 minutes I phoned again only to be cut off. I tried 3 times but each time I was disconnected. I then phoned from my landline which was answered. I asked where my taxi was, the man checked and said he was just dropping off his passenger and would be with me soon. By this time it was getting closer to 15.00 and I didn't have time to phone a different taxi firm, hoping that I was not being lied to. The taxi eventually arrived over 40 minutes late which meant that the ceremony would be well underway. We missed the funeral of a member of our family which we are very very sad about.

This company are a scam, do not rely on them for your taxi. They cancelled our booking 6 minutes before it was due, left a person with a disability waiting, then left them having to struggle to walk to find another, then they state it will take 2-3 days to get a refund - absolute joke of a service. Pay extra and use someone that respects you

Needed a ride to town, they arrived in 5-10 minutes as promised, 10 minutes later I was there. Not much to complain about.

I waited tonight with two acquaintances of mine who had booked and prepaid for a jet taxi. The taxi never came, and when one of them rang to find out what was happening, the dispatcher was short and discourteous. They claimed the taxi had been and they weren't there. Yet, apart from a single called, cancelled after one ring, there had been nothing there at all. I was actually sitting at the location facing the street and there was no way a taxi could have failed to see these two waiting for it. I believe it never even bothered coming, that as they'd been paid the driver just didn't bother, only making a drop call to be able to say they'd tried. Certainly it looks that way, and I'd warn anyone to avoid Jet taxis, especially if it's busy and they can just take the money then stay nearer home and do several other jobs instead. I can't say with certainty they commited this robbery and fraud, only that it strongly appears that way. But definitely they neither came nor tried to call. Beware!

After being told that the taxi I booked was allegedly waiting 10 minutes without even so much as a text to let me know he was there he was also double booked for another job at 6 am right after me knowing full well he had to pick me up first then when the cashpoint wasnt working so I could pay him he then had the cheek to take me for a fool by charging me an extra £1.00 on the journey I will not be using these con artist ever again. If I was anybody else my advice is not to use them if you dont wanna be ripped off. Use falcon or call a cab use anybody but jet taxis. By Damien Adam's ex long term user of this firm

Excellent needed disabled/wheel chair taxis form Stoke Manderville Hospital at 2.00 am yes AM to take home gentleman discharged from accident and emergency. They came very quickly it was no trouble even at such an inhospitable time.The driver was polite friendly and helpful also professional. The taxis was spotlessly clean and well cared for I was very impressed and they charged me an extremely reasonable rate.Yes from our experience I would definitely recommend this taxis firm.Thank you .

Shortest route (A413 or Turnfurlong) not taken but A41Limes Ave during rush hour costing an excessive 4.60 from Ayl. Town RailBedgrove. Shabby car interior, no licence details inside car
