Not all taxi companies are as good as this one. I use public transport a lot due to my job and not driving myself. I've been using 622222s taxis for over 15 years. Never been let down in the 15 years of using their service. Sometimes they may be a few minutes late or sometimes early. But you have to expect that as you can't always judge traffic. Their prices are great too. Always use them for airports as it's cheaper than sorting arrangements for taking my own car and leaving it there.

Phone was finally answered and was told it had been there all the time as computer tracks them, told her she needs her computer checking then and she put the phone down. Never use this firm unless you are desperate.

Called them up about 6.30 to book a taxi for 9.15 from whitwell to eastwood. About a half hour trip and having to be at work for 10 so leaves a 15 minute leeway for them to be late. Turned up at 9.55. Rang them 3 times from 9.30pm onwards always to be told it's a minute or so away. The operators on the phone are the most unfriendly and rudest people you could ever talk to. And this had happened a few times now, hence I only used them when needs must. If rather leave for work hours early and get a train than use that company again. I'd advise anyone and everyone to use alternate taxi companys. Oh and the driver only got given the job at half 9 15 minutes after it was suppose to have arrived. Drivers themself are fine and apolagetic. More than what can be said for the firm it's self.

Me and my wife use them all the time with no problems. Always arrive within a few minutes of the required pick up time. Clean cabs, careful driving even when the roads are quiet rather than getting thrown around like some other firms I've used in the past. Honest drivers thought I'd given one a tenner for a £4 fare when I was a bit inebriated but had given him £20 note one night but the driver corrected my mistake and made sure I wasn't out of pocket.

What a joke of a taxi! Booked one onthe night of 28/6/17 for 8 the next day for my daughter to get to school as I can't drive at min. Confirmed this morning at 7.45 that the taxi would be here at 8 yes all ok. My daughter waited till 8.25 still no taxi so came in to at which at this point school had started. I had been trying to contact this firm since 8.10 no answer. A taxi man finally came at 8.35 and his excuse was he had only had the call 5 mins ago but could see it was down for 8. He left as I had already sorted another taxi with a realiable firm. I eventually got through to 622222 and apparently was the owner who showed no compassion and said the road was really busy and nothing she could have done, when I know the road where clear as I had spoke to numerous people. I was telling her I wasn't happy and the response I got was, I was holding her up for her to book more people in for a taxi! She then put phone down. 622222 has got a bad reputation and now worse!!!!!!

They took my booking for new years day early hours quoting me a price of £23 because it would be double time & when I rang to check the booking on new years eve they told me they had not taken the booking. Really bad experience with this company. Pre booked the day before only to be told at 1-45 in the morning by the driver we approached we wasn't on the system. I phoned 6 five 2 and was told it was a mistake and to get the next available taxi. The same thing happened finally managed to get in third taxi 40 mins late. Very scary experience thinking we were going to be stuck in town at 2 in the morning with no way of getting home.

Poor service. I booked a taxi for 8:30 as I had to be at work for 8:45. And I rang the lady on a numerous of occasions when my taxi didn't turn up. She didn't seem to show any interest at the fact that I was already late for work because my taxi was 15 minutes late. For her then to put the phone down on me. Well and truly disgusted with there service and I will never ever phone a taxi from there company again. NOT reliable.

I have a feeling that the 'lady' on the phone was being rude to me only because she recognized that I am a foreigner. Apart from her rude tone of voice, she hung up on me for two times. I don't udnerstand this. Does being a foreigner make me a worse client? Awfully rude service! Will never use it again!

Terrible service! Will not be using again! Booked a taxi at 2am for a 2.30am pick up and at 3am still waiting. No one cared and they even put the phone down when I rang asking where it was....why would any taxi firm leave a girl on her own when she has booked a taxi?!?!
