I parked my car at work place ,I saw amber car reverse and hit my car ,great news for me I called police and report when waste my day.I went Amber office today no want say sory.I took same information about them insurance detail.they will waste my next couple day.Also I saw 2new staff will start tomorrow ,I thingk ,they wont get enough Experience before start work Beacuse who is hit my car only start 1 weeks ago and He said he will give up to job what a surprise . Finally worst experience my life dont worry get on amber car .when I see amber car RUN away.beacuse driver hit on you.0 star

Myself and my sons were over for the weekend of the 17th March and stayed in the Clayton Hotel and took the taxi they ordered which was Amber Cars. I found the driver very polite friendly and chatty, we used the same copmany on two other occasions, different drivers on each journey same response. Price was reasonable too will use them again.

i paid 15 pound from ossett to Leeds,with amber 26 pound from Leeds to ossett,the driver drove very erratic,and on his mobile too ,would not use again

Paid in advance for 15 taxis. Only 5 arrived! Have been promised a refund but two weeks later and after about 6 chasers from me I've still received nothing. The office staff are very polite and my complaint has now been referred to the general manager several times but he has never responded. I won't be using them again.

30/8 back from Leeds Festival taxi driver tried to overtake lorry, despite passengers telling him not to try that. Driver crashed head on to another car nearly killing himself and all passengers. Driver then tried to get the passengers not to call the police despite them needing medical attention urgently. Instead driver call his friends who turned and again tried to ask the passengers not to call the police. Very very dangerous and suspicious taxi firm. DO NOT USE.

Absolute ripped off by an Amber taxi when trying to get back from Leeds Festival. To go from Thorner (edge of Leeds) to Harrogate, it would usually cost £35-£40 in a minibus- this guy charged us £150 (originally he'd said £180 but managed to talk him down slightly!!) of course we expected to pay a bit more in this situation, but not four times the usual price!! It was appalling how he so blatantly took advantage - we only took it because one of our group had work at 7am and we were stranded otherwise. will never use them again out of principle, I urge others to avoid them too.

Turned up 40 miniutes late, despite my placing the booking 8 hours in advance. Dispatchers lied telling me it was on its way And was 5 miniutes away but still had not arrived when I called twenty miniutes later to be told I was second in line!!!! . The driver got lost, had no idea where he was going. I ended up walking for ten minutes and was late for work. Won't be bothering again. They are relatively reasonable priced but if they only get you part way to your destination and they are late what's the point?

Use this firm whenever I'm in Leeds. I've never had any problems with them and their prices are really cheap compared with what I'm used to where I live!

Terrible company. Drivers have no knowledge of the area and try to rip you off.No interest in providing a good service. My various complaints were never even acknowledged. Contact us on their site is a broken link!

Despite being a loyal customer for years, they routinely pick up the wrong customer so that I'm left without a taxi, or they'll cancel my taxi without ringing because the driver is in the wrong place (even though they have my phone number and GPS location). Pathetic.

Never use amber taxis. I have never been treated so badly in my life. After waiting an hour for a booked taxi which was meant to come within half an hour, the taxi then left with other people leaving us in the cold. After ringing the company we were then told it had been waiting for 20 mins which was a lie as it had just text saying it had arrived and I had called numerous times to make sure we didn't miss it. We were then offered another taxi which was another half an hour wait!!!! As well as this return journey, we had booked an outgoing journey, this was also a disaster. The taxi has forgotten we had booked one so we waited for an extra hour for them to then send one 6 seater when there was 13 people, we then had to wait another hour for a second taxi to arrive. Horrendous experience.

I use to use amber untill I found another firm called wheels. Wheels are cheaper faster and you can actually have a conversation with the drivers the operators on the phone are polite and sound like they are pleased to hear you and are happy to help. Wheels is 100X better than amber and I would recommend them even to the queen

I had to call for a taxi 3 times. 1st taxi got called off for reasons that they were unwilling to disclose. 2nd taxi picked up the wrong customer. 3rd taxi finally got it right.

Good value for money as minimum fare price is 2.80! They often turn up on time when calling them. Their service is fast as the drivers have a SatNav guiding them through short routes.

Used them for a taxi in the winter they actually came a little late than expected.Driver did say sorry I was taken to my work place on time but the fare price was wrong,4.50 for just 5 mins!
