Booked a taxi to celebrate our office Christmas event and when we called Avenue Taxis at 2:04pm to ask where they were, we were told our driver was just around the corner and pulling in. We then called again at 2:09pm and were told there was no record of our booking. Then we were told they had it but the driver had driven off and put us down as a no-show (despite the fact the same taxi company had actually driven us to the restaurant in the first place). Then the manager of the drivers, David Meer, told us the driver refused to come back again and that they would have to get us another car. This eventually turned up so late we got to our massage 20 mins late. Shocking & won't use again for business or leisure purposes!

Booked a taxi to pick me up from xmas party on Thursday. Taxi left me the last person in the building on Saturday had to phone to remind them that I had booked taxi, was thirty minutes late 12.50, not professional. Will not use again.

Avenue Taxis seem to be the best in Ipswich in my opinion. They are normally on time (and often sometimes a little early) and the drivers are polite. The fares are competitive too.
