    • Rip off merchant - charged £20 for a non-trip!! I recently booked a taxi for a friend from my house to Kemble station with this company, for which they quoted me £15-£18. While this is in itself a rip-off (I only live 5 miles from the station) it's at least comparable with other companies in the area so I accepted the quote. Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication, it turned out that my friend actually needed to go to Swindon, which is about 15 miles from me. Anyway, when the taxi arrived, she told him she wanted to go to Swindon, upon which he said it would be more expensive (fair enough, so far....). However, rather than actually TELLING her how much it would be, he just said "more" and also lied about how long it would take to drive to Swindon - he said 45 minutes, when in fact it's normally about 30. Then, instead of finding out the cost before accepting the fare, he started to drive her (presumably towards Swindon), in the dark, for about 10 minutes, after which he THEN calle

    • Absolute rip off company! I had a cab from Chippenham to Royal Wootton Bassett and was charged £80! I phoned them up asking for a quote for the same journey and was quoted 'about £40'. Then when I let on who I was he then tried to blame the council setting the rates (moron!)

    • Daughter used them. Car starts to smoke, driver advises her to stay in car. Flame then shoots out dashboard and she jumps out and car burst into flames. I eventually speak to a manager who neither asked how she was or apologised. He said best talk to driver. Total disregard for the passenger. Didnt understand why I was upset and thought advising someone to stay in smoking car was acceptable. Avoid!!!!!
