    • I rang for a taxi yesterday at 9.30am enquiring if I could have a taxi to Burnopfield at 10.30am - I was told they werent taking bookings and to ring nearer the time ? I asked how much nearer 5he time did they mean as it was less than an hour already and he told me he couldnt say ! I rang Street Cars instead and they came no problem - I know which company I will be using in future and it wont be Dean Taxis - terrible customer service

    • Terrible experience over a year starting with being 20 minutes late for an airport pick up booked weeks in advance. The app also doesn't work constantly having bookings cancelled and then called by rude staff suggesting that it's my fault and that I've been called to say this when I haven't. The way they are headed can't see a future no respect for customers. Call staff have no manners which is a shame since drivers are generally lovely. Need overhaul of booking system as it clearly doesn't work and people managing it don't understand simple procedures like a pre booked important event shouldn't rely on a previous pick up finishing on time.

    • Dean Taxis employ drivers who don't understand the basic rules of driving. They think it's acceptable to park on a dropped kerb, blocking the access to somebody's drive on a daily basis, while dropping off a passenger who lives half a mile away. When you complain, they say that they have to stop exactly where the passenger wants them to, regardless of the rules of the road. Doesn't give you any confidence in other aspects of their driving ability.

    • Poor poor service. Booked a taxi for a lone lady online, booking not picked up although confirmed. Left lady standing outside by herself for 30 mins as 30 mins late. Totally unacceptable. Will not use dean taxis again.

    • Last time they were 35 mins late and when I started to have a go at the driver he said he'd only got notification of the job 5 mins earlier and wasn't from Citadel. Can you believe Citadel took my job, couldn't fulfil it and THEY called another taxi firm and booked me another taxi. Unreal. Avoid them like the plague

    • Redline Taxis, are a 5* company, Customer service issues, come from a mix in cultures; fully approved however by South Tyneside council. Request a local driver, if this is the case. To many however diversity and a United Kingdom, I hope this not to be an issue. All drivers are enhanced CRB checked, and gives the benefit of booking privately and not getting in any Hackney carriage on the street, in which any exterior badge looks real We are a mix of companies now, and we won't be beaten on price. We therefore don't belong to the three most expensive taxi firms in South Tyneside, Arrow, Express and Westoe. We move forward together as one, in the benefit of all. Redline

    • Late late late every time i order a taxi bearing in mind i give them at least 20 minutes notice to get at a taxi for a specific time it come late by 15 minutes every time. Sort it out.....Westside please come back

    • One of their drivers almost took my car out tonight. Need to be careful! I was turning right into my drive way where he overtook me on a residential street veering into the opposite lane going way over the speed limit where overtaking isn't allowed almost clipping me, fortunately I use my mirrors and stopped when I saw him coming. I would give -1 stars if I could.
