Booked a taxi via app to be told 25mins later there was a 20 minute wait , had to cancel after being late for school pick up,

Dean Taxis in my experience do not appear to be particularly up to par when call outs are to places caring for the vulnerable and aged. They do not seem to grasp that customers at such places need a bit more time than usual to get to the taxi for all sorts of reasons. Perhaps a bit of training (if they do such a thing) in dealing with the vulnerable and aged could be of benefit to their business?

Pre booked a taxi tonight at 19:45 for pick up at 20:15 on the app. No taxi by 20:25 so I call them. The lady said I shouldn't have been allowed to book on the app as they were overbooked and running late. But I had booked and had a taxi confirmed. I gave her my confirmation number and she found the booking eventually. She said I can still get you one it will be 10-15 mins are you OK. I told her I had no choice so please send it. 20 mins later we called back as it hadn't arrived. At this point they said they couldn't find the booking at all and didn't have any taxis for another half an hour. Which would be 1.5 hours after we'd made the booking. We ended up starting to walk home and in the end my dad came to pick us up from his sick bed. The booking is still showing as confirmed on the app at 21:50. Appreciate it's xmas and they are busy but they shouldn't accept bookings they can't honour, it's completely unacceptable.

Was outside Asda Metrocentre when I overheard an abusive Dean taxi driver have a go at a promoter of a service - disgusting language and I have to question their safeguarding where kids and older people are concerned if this is the usual attitude of their drivers

I rang for a taxi yesterday at 9.30am enquiring if I could have a taxi to Burnopfield at 10.30am - I was told they werent taking bookings and to ring nearer the time ? I asked how much nearer 5he time did they mean as it was less than an hour already and he told me he couldnt say ! I rang Street Cars instead and they came no problem - I know which company I will be using in future and it wont be Dean Taxis - terrible customer service

Terrible experience over a year starting with being 20 minutes late for an airport pick up booked weeks in advance. The app also doesn't work constantly having bookings cancelled and then called by rude staff suggesting that it's my fault and that I've been called to say this when I haven't. The way they are headed can't see a future no respect for customers. Call staff have no manners which is a shame since drivers are generally lovely. Need overhaul of booking system as it clearly doesn't work and people managing it don't understand simple procedures like a pre booked important event shouldn't rely on a previous pick up finishing on time.

Taxi driver picked me and three friends up for our staff night out when the driver realised it was our staff party he offered to transfer us into the 'party bus' such a friendly, kind taxi driver thank you !!

Charged different prices. I was charged more for tariff one journey than on Tariff two for the same journey. Think licensing need to look into this. Robbers

Can't recommend enough booked to go to the airport for 6 people taxi going out arrived on time good driver, good condition of taxi coming back we were delayed but kept them informed of time coming back again good chatty driver, good condition taxi. I paid up front so got £5 discount. Good service.

Very poor. I used the service almost every other week for a journey to durham station, however, the one time i needed to go the opposite way i was told i needed to pay a deposit over the phone. When i asked for a copy of the policy, initially i was told they would need to ask manager to send it, only for the manager to say the policy isn't in writing. V. Poor service and given GDPR have great concerns at any company asking people to provide full debit or credit card details over the phone, but especially when they are aware the person is in a public place...privacy by design completely lost on these people. Used station taxis instead, never once asked for deposit and arrived on time.

Won't be using again. I don't know what has happened to Blueline, they used to be quite reputable, but now they're only out to rip you off. The amount of times lately that the blueline taxi I have been in has deliberately driven the long way around, or has even passed my destination to then do a longer loop back around is ridiculous. This probably works on those who don't really know their way around, but for me it's obvious that they try to prolong the journey as much as they can for more pay.

Quoted £44.50 Blyth to Newcastle airport 6/4/23. charged £57 on arrival. Rang firm to be told i had to pay despite them agreeing I had originally been quoted £44.50. Told to try and reclaim the difference afterwards. Don't you just know their website link for customer complaints is broken!

Bent over backwards to fit me in on Christmas day even though they were so busy. My mam left a bottle of Baileys on the floor and they gladly took it back to her. Outstanding customer service. Highly recommend this company.
