Do not use! Booked in Advance and they left me stranded at 11:30pm for 80 minutes. Eventually driver said he could get to me at 1am by this time I made other arrangements. Seeing the other reviews I see this company cannot be trusted.

Booked our taxi a year ago. Rang this week to confirm all was ok. Company calling themselves South West Taxis got us to the venue but then didnt turn up for the return journey leaving us stranded. Loads of excuses but an eventual no show. Ruined our evening. Avoid at all costs. They seem sincere but do not care about their customers.

What a disgrace this company are and I wasn't surprised to see other 1 star reviews companies saying they just don't care. They call me 1 min before pick up time whilst waiting outside for cab to tell me driver has had a puncture...and can't find a replacement for 90 mins?? ...What about Spare tire?...doesn't have one?...what Taxi driver doesn't have a spare tire??? ...and Taxi companies wonder why Uber is taking all their business...its cause they do a great job and care about their customers unlike Techxi. DO NOT USE this company as they will let you down 100%!

Ruined our night in Patchway - 5 Sep 21
They just dont care about their responsibilities or their customers. Now theyve expanded theyve become arrogant towards customer satisfaction. Dont care if they are late and arent bothered to contact you if something goes wrong. They used to excellent but must have been taken over as the call centre is now in India, so there is no local knowledge of the area, how ridiculous for a taxi company. Truly awful and the last time well be using them.

Disgraceful service. A disabled neighbour was outside awaiting a taxi booked at 9.30am which had still not arrived by10.15am. When th driver did arrive, he said he was given he order 5 minutes previously - a totally different from story from that given by an telephone lady 15 minutes previously.

Avoid if you can, unreliable, incorrect quote, uncomfortable vehicle, expensive I rang the County Cars number (always provided a good service) to book a return trip from Nailsea to Cleeve for 4 people. I was advised I needed a 6 seater at a cost of £21 as we were not allowed a front seat passenger. Our taxi arrived, a little late but only had 5 seats. The driver offered to get us a 6 seater but time did not allow this option. I queried the price I was going to pay and was advised it was dependant on the meter - not what I was told when I booked! The metered price was in excess of £21 and the driver contacted base and I agreed to pay £18. Shortly after I had a lengthy call from Techxi trying to explain their decision to send a 4 seater taxi and the bottom line was they were not picking us up as I had been abusive! We returned in a modern, comfortable, Uber for £11.
