Fuming in Stalybridge - 27 Mar 21
Booked a taxi last night to get come from my parents. Text message received to say look out fir white toyota auris. Waited outside also received automated call to state my car had arrived and i was waiting where the car should have been. Taxi was a "no show" and i ended up having to walk home. Terrible poor service i feel as a single woman left stranded

Utter rubbish. Female travelling alone. Ordered a can for 10pm from the train station. By 10:30pm the taxi still hadnt arrived. I called a neighbour to come and get me. Poor poor service. Rang them at 10:30 to politely cancel my taxi to be told ok. Will not use ever ever again.

Ordered a minibus for 12pm . Turned up 20mins late then had to stop to refuel further delaying journey. Best advice- if you need to be somewhere on time, order for half hour before you need to get there. Better still- AVOID THESE AMATUERS COMPLETELY !!!

I really dont understand how this company only has 2 stars. I always get Cavalier and use them at least 2 times a week for various things as I cant drive and often wake up late for work. Their drivers are friendly and are almost always here within 10 minutes of booking. Ive only ever had 1 real issue with cavalier since I started using them 3 years ago and the operators sorted my issue out almost immediately. Overall, a brilliant service

SHERRILL WALKER in Stalybridge - 23 Dec 17
DO NOT USE this Taxi Company! I called at 10:19 and ordered a taxi for 11:40 to take us to Stalybridge Station, at 11:41 I called again to find out where taxi was only to be told it would be about 5 to 10 minutes as they are very busy, I couldnt believe what I was hearing when the operator also said it was up to the driver if they wanted the job or not....... correct me if Im wrong but my understanding of booking a taxi for a specific time is because you have to be somewhere for a certain time! I would not use this Taxi Company again and would definitely NOT recommend them.

Terrible can not be relied upon. Left me stranded after I booked a cab. The latest scam was adding 50pence onto the metre fare. I will be complaining to the authuorities but it's a waste of time. It's uber from now on.

I pre booked a taxi 48 hours in advance for 01:00 on new years day from Stalybridge Labour Club, I was outside the club at 00:55 and started ringing them at 01:06 but the phone was engaged. I continued ringing for another 20 but continuously engaged. I ended up walking home and got soaked in the rain which wasn't really a big problem, but what if it would have been a lone female relying on Cavalier cars to get her home safely, I would say they cannot be relied on. I rang to complain but they weren't interested I probably would use them again if I was desperate but I would never tip a taxi driver again. Happy New Year

Absolutely terrible. Went in to the office at 8.30 pm . Booked a cab. Told five minutes. Ten minutes later. Some one else walks on books a cab. They get a cab within a minute. Guy behind the counter wanted a better fare for his friend. So not only myself as customer is put of ever using this company again. The other taxi drivers are put out of work. Time to get a new control or go out of business.

Last Wednesday we booked a taxi for 12.50pm with Cavalier to take us to Stalybridge station in order to catch a train to Manchester at 13.15. Cavalier was late and despite calling twice and being told that the taxi was on it's way, at 13.10 the taxi was still not here. The office manager Lesley told me that the taxi was caught in traffic and that I should have left more time, however our house is about 8 minutes from the station. When we finally got a taxi from another company there was no traffic. As we were booked on a specific train from Manchester to London I asked her if the taxi driver could take us to Manchester Piccadilly instead for the same price, to be told by Lesley that she was not authorised to make that decision! Had we not had a train in hand we would have had to pay the full fare to London on top of what we had already paid. We will nerver ever use Cavalier again.

Today 7th March I had a taxi booked for 8 am to take me to Manchester airport This was booked 18 hours in advance, I specifically asked for their guidance about timing due to 'Rush hour' on motorway. Their advice 8 am. Eventually after after several phone calls asking where and when and being told either a few minutes or 5 minutes or now in High Steet, a taxi from Radio Cabs turned up at 08.30. This cab had been brought in by Cavalier. To say I was stressed is very much an understatement. I did eventually get to the airport in time to catch my flight thanks to the very kind Radio Cabs driver Ahmed who did his best to calm me. I WILL NEVER USE CAVALIER AGAIN as they have been late before but not to that extent.
