    awful just awful , female day staff are polite but brainless , I doubt if they could direct a driver to the toilet , the asian staff are just rude & abusive , the only chance you get for decent service/advice is the english guy on nights who has been there for ages - as for drivers 50/50 chance of car stinking of fags or knowing where they are going - sat nav rules !!! set on fast route will take the long way & cost more !!! use uber !! cheaper unless its on surge & car gets there faster & no rude staff to talk to

    Just observed the most disgusting behaviour by one of their drives reg plate LR55 WGM. This is obviously not a reflection on the company as a whole. But deliberately obstructed an ambulance - every other car moved to allow them to pass and then he took the space theyd made and then sat at a red traffic light (at the Scott Arms so not quick) holding the ambulance up for about 3-4 minutes. Appalled

    Great Barr taxis (office staff) take rudeness to customers to a new level. Never knowingly polite. Shame because drivers are polite and courteous.

    The drivers seem to know where they are going. But the cars are dirty and smelly. We have also had an issue with other passengers stealing our taxi. The drivers don't check they have the right passengers. The first time was from the Queslett Pub - got the text confirming the car make/model and reg no, got outside and someone else was getting into our car. Had to phone for another taxi. Then, last night we were at a party, I booked a 7 seater as there were 5 of us. When our taxi came, it was the one on the text message and I could see it was a 7 seater, another party of 2 was getting in and the driver didn't say anything. I asked the driver if he was booked for xxxx Road because we had a 7 seater booked, he didn't have a clue. It wasn't until I challenged the other couple, we were able to get in our taxi. What's the point in confirming the taxi details by text, if your drivers are going to let someone else take it? Shoddy service.

    I used to use great barr lots over the years I rang up last week to get a taxi to my partners the man who answered the phone in i would say eairly to mid 20s had a really attitude problem. He said I had to pay upfront as I hadnt used them before to which I replied I had many a time only to be questioned to where which I reply he had the cheek to say "ye but you havnt" to which I repled hmmm but I have..... it just went on and on when the taxi arrived I told the driver about the operstor having a really bad attitude to which he was really symphatic and apolagetic about he said I didnt have to pay up and he didnt know why I was told that on the phone. As another user commented the call handler is letting the company down. The drivers I never have a problem with are always friendly.

    I travel with my 2 daughters aged 9 and 12 and get a ranting driver moaning at women drivers all the way back!!!!!! #sexism STOP! Why refer to gender? In a car full of females!!! Disrespectful.

    DISGRACEFUL TAXI DRIVERS I have spent lots of money through the years on great barr cabs.but never..i have had 4 to many rude taxi drivers..the last one left me and my daughter on the ring road because i sed i was quoted a different price wen ringing..its not that i wouldnt pay wat he asked for..but he radioed in the office bad mouthin me sayin i will jus drop them on the side road..im not taking them..disgustin with my daughter aswell..please dont hav them..o will be takin further actionon this cab firm furt

    After many years of custom today I was massively disrespected by a great Barr cars driver. I called for a taxi to take me to football and was picked up and dropped off with no problems. When it came to getting a taxi from Moor lane pavilions on Sunday afternoon I was instructed to pay up front in a suspicious tone. I asked why and was meet with the reply that i had done a runner from this driver the previous week. I stated I was a regular customer with a long history of custom which I have proof off because they have caller ID on the system and I have months worth of messages on this phone and the history from my address alone should vindicate me from such aquastions and you should admit it's a case of mistaken identity. I rang the rank where I was told if I want a cab I will have to pay up front. I understand people run from taxis and this is massively frustrating for the man trying too make a living but this is something I have and would neve

    Absolutely shocking service, booked airport pickup and waited over 40 mins, had a call off the driver saying to go to car park 3 and then didn't show up. Called the depot no answer. It was midnight with 2 kids and the driver said he was given the call but didn't want it so waited until no other jobs came in and then came for us. Don't waste your money, go somewhere else.

    Avoid at all costs booked airport return pickup and had it confirmed the day before and the they never sent a taxi them denied ever speaking to anyone and said they never even had a booking disgraceful

    Taxi is late even if pre booked, the operaters are rude especially the ladies at times, did want to make a complaint about a particular incident but this company appears to not have the correct procedure in place, so I would be speaking to the people I want to complain about! What sort of joke is that. Will not be using this service again. Uber way better by far!

    So far so excellent. This taxi company is very strangr because not only are drivers AND phone operators extremely polite but they're also cheap! I know right? Punctuality wise haven't had a problem, drivers are subject to traffic guys so don't expect them to come on time - call 15 minutes earlier!

    Pre booked a taxi at 4.15 to come for 6.15 phoned them at 6.15 to see where they are to tell me no car is available and just because I've pre booked doesn't mean I'm priority, still means I have to wait. To which I replied I know you busy hence why I pre booked you so I wouldn't be waiting in the cars. Company is going down, run by dick*eads! !!

    Ordered a taxi, after receiving the text message to say it's arrived the taxi decided to drive off, luckily I was with my partner who ran up to the taxi who decided to let 4 men get in the taxi and take them instead.... When ringing the operator he took it upon himself to use his great customer service skills to tell us 'nothing is guaranteed in life' well my friend no wonder uber is taking over, so as nothing is guaranteed in life neither is your job.
