Top service both from prompt, polite and professional drivers with spotless vehicles. And from the attentive, accommodative and patient office staff. No fault in the company. Never had any issues and any disputes with fares or complaints have been taken seriously and explained extensively as to why it may have happened. For an excellent service in and around Swindon, Id highly recommend SN1 Cars as your first choice.

Taxi turned up 25 mins late; taxi was booked two and half hours I advance and then I was asked for directions why a joke. No apologis. Wont be using again.

Driver had no idea where he was going. Had to direct him all the way. His English was very bad, so was his driving.

What a joke...taxi booked two days in advance, called the day before to confirm. Total no show which meant i nearly missed my train and plane....i will never be booking with these cowboys again. 0/5

Booked 4 taxis in June to transport 14 people to a festival 28th August. Also reconfirmed the booking a few days prior and was told all OK. Pick up time came and no show. Called to be told they only had 1 car on the booking and that he was running late. They couldn't send the other 3 cars on the booking even though we had booked them months in advance. They then refused to send the 1 car that was on it's way. We also had them booked for the return journey. We quickly had to scrabble round to buy parking at the festival and then 3 people had to become designated drivers and use their own cars to get us there and back. Defeating the object o why we wanted to go by taxi in the first place. Do not use them, they are beyond useless and they do not honour their bookings!

Ordered this taxi while with my friends today, said 15 minutes till he came so we waited, 45 minutes later nobodys still hasnt turned up so we rang them and then all we got was attitude. Never again.

Unfortunately I cannot award anything lower than 1 out of 5, much as I would like to. Having prebooked and prepayed a 1am booking for 3 households several days in advance we were first lied to before having our taxi cancelled (without being informed). We were then fobbed off and abandoned late at night, outside and in an area where there is limited taxi provision, miles from home. We didn't get home until 3.30 am as a result. Other guests were also let down by V Cars. This company is absolutely unreliable. Will never use again. Book at your own risk!

DO NOT USE!! Booked an airport transfer to the airport for a holiday. They were supposed to pick up at 2am but didnt show. I received a text providing the car reg no. Saying it would be with us in 10 mins, but nothing. I rang them and they said they didnt have a car available. They then tried to blame me for booking the wrong car type, even though I had email conversations with their shift manager (Hazel) who suggested a regular or estate car would be ok for the trip. I had told her that it was for 4 people with 4 medium sized suitcases. We booked the estate. By 2:35 it had still not been resolved and it looked like we were not going to make it. I couldve lost £3k because of them. Luckily I managed to get a family member to take us (in his estate car!) but by this time the kids were in pieces. Vcars caused a lot of stress and tears. I will never ever use them again!

We pre-booked and pre-paid for two cars to collect at 12:30am. No one showed up to collect so we phoned the company who told us theyd not yet allocated a driver but they would be there in 15 mins. 15 mins later no one had arrived so we phoned back and were told they were nearly there. This continued for 2 hours!!! We were reassured they were almost there and then no one appeared. Only once in that entire time did the person we spoke to actually put us on hold to contact a driver and at no point did anyone apologise. In the end just one car showed up so we had to then go and collect our remaining party ourselves. On asking for a refund (which feels entirely justified given our experience) we were told we would be refunded only for the car that did not show up.and they still didnt apologise, merely excused the situation by saying theyd been very busy. I absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have used Cross Street Motors for many years, before and after pandemic, and until recently have found them good. Drivers I've had have been respectful. Pre-booked service for my son's A Level exam yesterday for this morning, only to receive text saying no car now available as drivers had not logged on. After call to office, I was told there was no car as drivers are self-employed and there were not enough logged on this morning to honour my booking. (After I'd explained lack of taxi could mean my son missing his exam). The receptionist was pleasant and seemed genuinely concerned, but it just appears that Cross Street Motor's business model is to take your booking and hope some one is around to fulfill the contract. Tough if they're not. So, if you want to catch a plane/train/exam/important meeting, be forewarned and choose a firm which is more professional and reliable. TBH if I'd have known this was their business model, I would not have touched them with a barge pole.

Suppose to be a 5 star my mum rings up for a taxi and they call back and tell her they cannot pick her up. Poor service then give her another taxi number that doesn't even answer

The issues began with the driver taking us to the wrong venue for the wedding we were attending. This was deemed to be our fault and we were actually charged extra for their error! We had booked the return journey for 12:30am and the first taxi eventually arrived at 12:45am. The other taxi arrived at 1am! The driver took a route that was clearly longer than the fastest journey and at times was driving at over 60mph in 30mph zones, crossing solid white lines and failing to indicate on roundabouts or stay in the right lane. The driver charged us the increased price and even appeared to wait for a tip! Very poor service, would certainly not recommend or use again. The other guests reported that their driver was constantly looking down at his phone and on several occasions nearly mounted the hedge and pavement.
