Found my self at Torbay hospital heart unit with no mobile phone. upon discharge the reception staff phoned for a taxi, and passed me the phone I was told they would not send a taxi for me with no mobile phone despite me saying I was phoning from the hospital help desk. this resulted in me having to catch two buses home despite just being discharged. and stil having dressins.

Don't use. Terrible company. I pre booked a taxi from paignton to torbay hospital for an ergent appointment. After 10 minutes of being late I rang them to find out how much longer. I was told it would be 15 minutes. Totally unelectable. I would miss my appointment. Chap on phone couldn't care less. What is the point in pre booking when they have no intention of turning up on time.

I booked a taxi last week and got a text to confirm my booking for 23:00. At 22:50, I had a missed call. When I called back a few minutes later (waiting outside in the dark in a lane) I was told that my taxi had to be going back to Torbay, not Teignbridge so were cancelling. We were furious! Not only did we have children to get home for, but the fact that they had booked and confirmed where we were going to and then cancelled with only 10 minutes notice instead of contacting me at 7pm when I had booked it. It was the first time we had used this taxi service and I definitely wont bother giving them business next time! Disgusting customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. If it had been a young woman on her own or a little old granny leaving the church hall with no way to get home and barely any phone signal, things could have been a much worse. Sort yourselves out Torbay Taxis!

I booked a taxi from Isaac Merrit in Paignton at approx.2:00pm.I received text at 2:09pm that it had been dispatched.At 2:11pm I was told it had arrived.I waited almost 10 mins outside in the rain,then went back inside.At 2:19 I was told I was not to be found. I have been a customer for over two years,and have never had such a problem. Yet, when I report it to someone in authority, I am dismissed without a credible explanation or apology.I am told that this person is Richard M. I have stated that I no longer wish to be a customer. Ordered a taxi for a friend to get home and pre paid the fee. They Never even showed up. Absolute disgrace tried calling to ask where they are several times and no answer.

DO NOT USE Absolute liars and thieves. Dont quote prices. Dont use meters. Reported to DTC and will hopefully lose their licence soon.

Quality taxi firm with decent prices and really friendly drivers and staff would recommend Teignbridge Taxis (Frankies Taxis) to anyone in Newton abbot or surrounding areas

This evening, I ordered a taxi to get myself to work; i left my home at 2 minutes past the designated time of pickup expecting my taxi to be there.. instead i call up asking where he is and i get moaned at saying that he's now 10-15 minutes away (which is clearly impossible) and that he was 'waiting there for 10 minutes' well i'm sorry but if you don't like waiting then don't get to the location way before the designated time and then moan about waiting!! Not only this but while i was in the taxi he then had another call from somebody else asking where their taxi was and he replied with the same response "i was there waiting for you and you didnt come out so i have left" what the hell is this? i hope this isn't how all of your drivers treat their customers as you will quickly run out of business due to the large array of other options around this area, you shall not be hearing from me or close family and friends ever again.
