    • What an awful experience. Smoky, uncomfortable taxis but the worst points were 1. They didn't turn up when booked in advance- we called and they came late but we were then late for our appointment 2. They charged us nearly double the price quoted on the phone and were completely lacking in concern when we dared to argue about the price. Never again - there are many other good taxi companies around the area

    • First time trying to use this company and I won't bother again. I called about 1.5 hours before I needed a pick up from our local station and they asked me to pay in advance which I was happy to do but when we got off the train at our local station the taxi wasn't there. I called and was informed that they had just finished a job but were still 15-20 mins away. The walk home takes about the same time so my husband and i just walked home in the pitch black. Rather infuriatingly, I was told I couldn't have a refund straight away and that I would need to call on the next working day to arrange this. Not happy as I paid in advance in good faith so I feel like I have been ripped off.

    • No cab company is perfect, but they are I suppose better than walking. Especially when its raining. Or snowing. Or in a blizzard. Or something like that. Actually, or even when its too hot. They have air-con in most of their motors. Yeah OK, that ain't much use in a blizzard. But it is when its hot. Like it was a couple of weeks back. All sorts of drivers though. Some are stupid, some are OK. I spose much like any other cab company. But, unlike the previous review, I would use them again, but I wont recommend them to anyone, as if I do, they might get too busy and I might not get a cab myself.

We booked you to collect us from Loose, take us Snodland and then a return journey later that evening. The Car was very clean and the driver was very polite and helpful. Helping with he pushchair and bags where ever he could. He had an excellent knowledge of the local area. The message we received when out car was on its way was a brilliant idea so we knew what we was looking for when it arrived.     • We were travelling to Gatwick south on Saturday morning we ordered a taxi from United Cars in Maidstone. When we booked we received a booking confirmation of our journey, we also received a text when the cars turned up. Driver was polite and very tidy with a very clean car. The journey took about 50 minutes. We were impressed with this car service due to the efficiency and military precision on how the service was executed

    • Best cab service in town. They do their best even when it's busy and keeps the customer informed as much as possible. Saturday nights are the busiest and sometimes take a little longer to get through but at least they actually answer the phone unlike the other companies in the area

    • This company has just left me waiting in the cold - again! No taxi! 333444 taxi Southend told me that the taxi was booked, however, despite checking with then beforehand, no taxi was waiting. I called after 5 minutes in the cold and was told that I was top of the list when a car became available. At this point I cancelled the triple three triple four taxi as I only have a 13 minute walk home and last time they made me wait, it was far far longer and no one ever came to pick me up.

    • Absolutely awful experience. Was told that the taxi would arrive within 10-15 minutes. I was due to catch a train to make sure I made it to attend my daughters recital. The cab turned up nearly an hour later. Needless to say I missed the recital, and the cab wanted £14 for the fare !!

    • Alan in Leigh 11/1/19 I booked a cab at 8.45 to get to Queensway Surgery for a minor operation, the car arrived at my address at 9.40, 45 minutes later. The operation has been cancelled until an unknown future date. I was on the phone to the Surgery as the car arrived and he executed a three point turn at high speed when I told him he was no use to me anymore. Formal complaint to follow. Not impressed !

    • Absolutely disgusting service rang at 9:30pm on Sunday for a cab from leigh rang again at 10pm ...operator answered just with hello after ringing for 1 minute...told a cab would be 10 to 15 minutes ....rang again at 10:20 ...no answer....rang again 10:30 to be told no cabs available !! Sorry no cabs in leigh on s Sunday night for nearly 1hr !!! Shocking and very poor attitude from the operator sums this Company up

    • Absolutely disgusted with the service I'm so angry and upset with the service last night I phone them around 10 30 pm to get home after long all day shift I was still waiting around it got to 11pm so I phoned them again they said sorry was u not told it could take up to 30 40 mins nope I was not told this so I thought well I've been waiting half hour extra 10 mins won't hurt they insisted I was on there urgent list it then got to 11 30 when I tired calling them twice to see where the hell my taxi was I thought OK must be here soon I then sorted out a friend to pick me up and even tho I should still be waiting for my taxi I didn't receive anything to say the taxi had come so I'm really disappointed with this because I could prob still be waiting for this taxi which I very much even bothered to turn up absolutely awful

    • After years of being a loyal customer I have to say that after my experience on Saturday afternoon I shall not be useing your service again. Our journey was from my address to old Leigh. The driver took us the longest route, we sat in stationary traffic along London road at 5pm and I had to tell the driver to turn off and take the back roads. I feel as if we were well and truly ripped off with the charge. The journey back was £4 cheaper.

    • Terrible!!! Avoid! Was left waiting over 45 minutes in the pouring rain for no taxi to turn up with the office telling me it was coming. It never did. Tried again last night (as my usual taxi company was insanely busy) was told I couldnt pre order a taxi so called back ten minutes later and then ended up waiting outside the station for 20 minutes for no taxi to turn up once again and no one answering the phone. Waste of time. My pregnant self ended up walking back home in the pitch black darkness. Thanks AC Racio Cabs!

    • I am completed to write this review as this is probably 4th time that I have ordered taxi to collect me from the Chalkwell station and taxi driver has just collected anyone who happened to be there before I had a chance to get out from the train and to the taxi rank. I have asked lady operator to please make sure that driver waits for me bearing in mind my previous experience , especially as they hold destination address and my name. Despite this same happened yet again. It is absolutely outrageous that the taxi drivers do not take into consideration safety of he people booking the journey or even bother to take appropriate information from the person getting into their cab as to where they are going, it is immediately obvious that the destination is not the same as the booking if they actually cared at all which they obviously do not. Shameful! I miss uber in my area, polite drivers, clean cars and never felt stranded late at night with them. Local council should take note.
