I have used this company twice now and on both occasions they have turned up on time with helpful drivers and clean cars. Would definitely use again

Really poor, booked 3 days ahead then didn't turn up, when called I was told no idea when get to me, bad attitude when tried to get information, cancelled ride and they cancelled return trip without letting me know.

i writing this on behalf of my 80yr old disabled mum she had an awful experience with u last wed night 29th march she went to orpington tescos was dropped of with one of ur drivers and had a return booked for 45 mins later she waited taxi didnt turn up after 45 mins plus she waited 45 mins rang and asked where it was they cancelled it because they said she wasnt there she was there u just didnt bloody look she.s severly disabled cant walk far everybody seen how distressed she was and helped her even an ambulance driver offered to help her but thankfully a lovely man and his wife took my mum so thanks for ur crap service if thats how u treat ur customers u can stick ur so called service where the sun dont shine so she wont b using ur service learn to look after ur customers because without them ur have no job disgrace should b ashamed of urselves to treat an 80 yr old disabled lady like that

I have used cannon cars to the airports and local runs over this year they are always on time and have never let me down I would just like to say they are Amazing

Not sure if I have the right company but the gentleman was not rude, patient courteous and the gentleman was quite courteous at the end of the ride he asked me to do him a favor. I enjoyed the service and The View. And I I would like to say thank you.

I WOULD URGE NOT TO USE! Late is an understatement! Waited well over an hour 75mins in FACT when told driver would be within 30mins ! Absolute joke of a service!:

We used Cannon Cars for the first time yesterday after being let down by 3 Uber drivers and I will definitely be using Cannon Cars again for any future trips I need! Our driver arrived to us as fast as possible and she was so so friendly which made us feel so comfortable the whole journey. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent Service. Taxi arrived on time at the station even though my train was delayed!! Booked Roadrunner Taxis Totnes for the return journey and Victors wife collected us! Will certainly use these again! 10/10

Jake's Cars are a local taxi service near me and were recommended by my son. I use them on a regular basis as I have some trouble walking. The service they provides brilliant. The lady that answers the phone, Debbie, is very nice and the drivers are smartly dressed, friendly and always turn up on time. I would recommenced them to others for the great service.

Jake's Cars are a local taxi company to me that I have been using for a few months now, and the service with them is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and they always turn up on time, if there is any reason they may be a little later than expected they let me know which is great. I cant fault them at all and would recommend them to others.

Rude and disrespectful

Top company, have used a couple of times and never had a issue and always on time which makes a change from other companies used!

What an awful experience. Smoky, uncomfortable taxis but the worst points were 1. They didn't turn up when booked in advance- we called and they came late but we were then late for our appointment 2. They charged us nearly double the price quoted on the phone and were completely lacking in concern when we dared to argue about the price. Never again - there are many other good taxi companies around the area

First time trying to use this company and I won't bother again. I called about 1.5 hours before I needed a pick up from our local station and they asked me to pay in advance which I was happy to do but when we got off the train at our local station the taxi wasn't there. I called and was informed that they had just finished a job but were still 15-20 mins away. The walk home takes about the same time so my husband and i just walked home in the pitch black. Rather infuriatingly, I was told I couldn't have a refund straight away and that I would need to call on the next working day to arrange this. Not happy as I paid in advance in good faith so I feel like I have been ripped off.

They are brilliant, timing, car and service quality are 5 star. Our driver Tony, was very polite and he has comfortable driving skill. Thanks for tonight.

No cab company is perfect, but they are I suppose better than walking. Especially when its raining. Or snowing. Or in a blizzard. Or something like that. Actually, or even when its too hot. They have air-con in most of their motors. Yeah OK, that ain't much use in a blizzard. But it is when its hot. Like it was a couple of weeks back. All sorts of drivers though. Some are stupid, some are OK. I spose much like any other cab company. But, unlike the previous review, I would use them again, but I wont recommend them to anyone, as if I do, they might get too busy and I might not get a cab myself.

Booked this lot for taxi to Gatwick and return pickup. Text to confirm pick had wrong post code. Driver arrived on time but not helpful in terms of luggage. Got to Gatwick on time. Return was something else. Driver was late. Contacting him proved difficult, when we did he asked if we were in the Yellow car park - there isnt a Yellow car park, then radio silence. Called yet again when someone else answered and said he would get hold of him. After more frustration he turned up in the Red car park where we were. Set of on the journey home but didnt have our address in his satnav so got somewhere close and asked if “this was it”, a random assumption. Directed him to our house where he sat in his cab, opened the tailgate so we unloaded bags and closed his tailgate for him. Useless company and useless driver.

We booked a taxi for 4 adults to take us to a restaurant & a return trip. The driver who picked us up was on time, friendly & efficient ( he deserves a very good rating). For the return journey, the company could not come up with a driver and after 50 minutes of waiting & numerous phone calls to them, we fortunately found another means to return home. Alpha cars seem to have a monopoly on all taxi firms in Basingstoke ... sadly they did no fulfill their obligation, so we would not recommend them.

Called a day in advance asking for a 3:15pm sharp service for a school run, even sharing with the operator that if I was not going to be able to make it "my wife would've killed me". Service confirmed and call 30 min before the expected time (2:45pm on the day) to confirm all was booked and ready. 3:15 Nothing!... called and they advise the vehicle was on its way, 3:25 nothing! 3:27 vehicle showed up telling me he was just told about the service. Had to collect my kids at the school reception because of course, I was 10 mins late...

They don't deserve even a one star. I booked a taxi on Friday, wanted it to come on Saturday. I waited 15mins for a taxi, I was in hurry, so I called to Alpha Cars asking where is taxi, the operator said it will be with me soon. Taxi never showed up. I called again and said it's not here so I want to cancel it. They said sorry and sent me a message that the driver couldn't find me which is not true! The taxi never come to pick me up. So disappointed, because of them I was late to my appointment. I will never use them again and won't recommend to anyone.

The company is good depending on what driver you get there is a mini bus driver who resembles Shrek with a Liverpool accent beware he is a greedy bully.

Very poor performance I thought I was getting into a Taxi with a professional Taxi driver, it wasn't he had a very poor knowledge of route just following a sat nav. Very little knowledge of Edinburgh. Next time I will use a black cab from the airport, I used a black cab on my return journey! It was way quicker and cheaper.

Phoned on the 3/ 10 and communicated with a robot . After a wait spoke to a person who booked me for 4/10 at 845 ..Was going into hospital as day patient ..The taxi was 20 minutes late ..I was advised initially I would be picked up by a BMW and then a Toyota. The driver of the Toyota travelled from Preston pans and said he had been allocated the job at 9pm ..The cost was £25.80 for a very stressful and inadequate service

They helped us to get to the airport after an unexpected accient. The staff treated us very professionally (we were stressed) and we got to the airport on time. 10/10, highly recommended!!

Really bad, booked with disabled needs explained this was assured of help, but the drive refused any assistance - so mean spirited - what a horrible company

A local family taxi company well established with a great fleet of drivers and nice cars. Polite, punctual and good value too.

Terrible service. Do not use. 10 mins after agreed time we were told the taxi was 2 mins away. After another 10 mins we called and were told we didn't have a taxi because they hadn't confirmed it despite having a text to say our taxi was booked. Taxi showed up an hour late after several phone calls.

i called 2 hours before to book a taxi for the required time... guess what.... it never came. Why? Because first communication it was stuck in traffic second communication the train in Netherfield was passing... Result did not make it to my destination, cost me money and waisted my time... Suggestion if you want to get to your destination use any other company except Gedling

Got in taxis having already pre paid on app.When the journey finished the metre said 4.40.I said to him ok its 4.40 then got out.When I checked the app he charged me 4.70.They are suppose to be trust worthy. I now feel he has let sussex cars done and will now try another taxis company.

Ordered a taxi. Never turned up. Phone not answered. Finally got though. Could not care less. No explanation. Rude and unhelpful.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Possibly the worst service I have ever received. Taxi never showed up, the rudest telephonist ever. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Horrible service. Ordered a pet friendly taxi the day before travelling. In the morning a normal cab arrived with a confused rude driver who refused to take the dog. He contacted the office and they said that there are no pet friendly cars available at this time. Had to run to get to the vet's on time. Awful, incompetent company, will never use again.

Definitely the most reliable taxi & minibus service in Porthcawl, their vehicles are always exceptionally clean and the drivers are always very happy and chatty, highly recommend if you haven't tried them before.
