Foulds Metals buy a wide variety of scrap metals ranging from non ferrous, which consists of copper, brass, aluminium, lead and Bronze, and ferrous. Which consists of light iron, mixed cast iron, turnings plate, girder and engines. We also offer skip hire to the public, which we will bring to you and collect free of charge. We accept small or bulk loads and have a maximum single lifting capability of 8 tons. At Foulds Metals we have an ATF, which means we are licensed to scrap vehicles. We have invested in the latest equipment to enable us to meet the requirements of the directives. So if You have an old car stuck at home and don't know what to do with it, call Foulds Metals and we will collect your car free of charge as long as it is in our 10 mile radius. If you only have a small amount of scrap but come in every day or every week, we can keep your weight on account and pay you when you want to be paid. For any small amounts of scrap we have a charity metal skip on site, once weighed, any proceeds are donated to the RNLI. So far we've raised over £10,000! Due to the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, we will need a form of photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, or 2 utility bills (less than 3 months old) for the same address. It's actually now illegal to pay by cash for any scrap metal, so payment is made by cheque or direct to your bank account, so we will need your account number and sort code to be able to action this. scrapped my car with foulds for the first time recently, these guys are fast and certainly know what they are doing! i was there no longer than five minutes. great service and knowledgeable staff! highly recommend!

i have used foulds a number of times for collections of my m.o.t failures,not only do they offer good prices, they have always been polite and friendly and turned up on time. good company to deal with!

Left my partner to sort out the collection of the vehicle as I work away from home. Was'nt expecting for her to get abuse from Foulds over the phone and then for them to hang up on her. Even for a Monday morning it is very unprofessional, maybe your Staff cant handle their weekend on the bevvy. Wont use again or advise others to.
