The Blackbird Inn dates back to 1773, is a rustic traditional country inn with an extensive Restaurant, bar, open fireplaces and lawned gardens for outside dining. There are also 6 quality full en suite rooms, consisting of 4 Kings,1 twin and a cosy double.The Blackbird Inn is well located near Wellington, just off the A38, just 4.5 miles from Taunton and is less than an hours drive from the seaside towns and villages South and North Somerset. The Blackbird Inn is all about providing a relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable time during your stay in Beautiful Somerset. The inn has a country traditional atmosphere extensive open beams, brass fittings and open fireplaces. The Bar is very well stocked with many Local Real Ales, local Ciders, Stouts, Bitters & Lagers, with a comprehensive wine list of wines from around the world. We offer an extensive range of soft and hot drinks. We are known for our excellent restaurant food quality, with a superb and extensive menu of traditional rural Somerset cuisine, local dishes and International cuisine .
