Modernised a 1950 bungalow. Knocked out large brick fireplaces and made good. Refitted a bathroom, Cloakroom and a Kitchen plus utlity. Redecorated.He was on site checking progress and made sure the site was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Stuck to his quotation. Lots of experience.

Our community hall employed Handford Construction recently to complete a range of storage cupboards. From the outset, the company was professional, the quote was detailed, and communication was good during the works when there were any issues to discuss. We were very pleased with the completed works and the final invoice was as expected with no "hidden extras". Everything left clean and tidy.

Being exceptionally pleased with the work AllroundUK had previously competed for me I am a repeat customer. This time I had some very tricky worktops replaced in my kitchen and a large amount of tiling above them. I was thrilled with the results. My house is a 16th century cottage so the walls are a challenge. Gavin's attention to detail was fantastic, nothing was an issue and the results are incredible! Exceptionally pleased customer. My garden transformation is complete I had tones of gravel and grass removed... as I wonted low maintenance garden. Has been replaced with lovely Indian sandstone patios and golden gravel boarders.. and bespoke custom-made purgola which is just fantastic.. John has transformed my ok garden into my low maintenance happy place .. not my first job done by John and won't be my last if you won't hard working trustworthy good advice on time and cost affective.. get booked in you won't find better than John Meigh.

John has just completed hard landscaping of our 100 foot garden. This involved considerable amounts of groundwork and preparation, not an easy task with a garden on different levels. Extensive Indian Stone paving, building steps with brickwork and composite fencing. He also built us a really sturdy shed. His craftmanship, and attention to detail is second to none and he keeps you informed every step of the way. Highly recommend.

John has just completed the building of an extension and the fitting of a new kitchen. His advise, design, attention to detail and his craftsmanship ensured that this is a first class job. If you need any work doing to your home, John is the one to do it. I cannot fault it.

John did our roof repairs and repointing, as well as completely transforming our kitchen, involving replastering walls, new tiled floor, fitted new kitchen and appliances and did all the tiling. Really impressed with his craftsmanship and he kept us in the picture every step of the way. Highly recommend .

After a previously awful experience with a cowboy firm, we were very nervous to begin another house extension. We were recommended Chirton Builders as theyd been labelled high quality and most importantly trustworthy. This is exactly what we found Phil and the team to be. They built us a 2 story extension and did some knock through works in the rest of the house to open things up a bit. Yes there were some unexpected delays and some stumbling blocks, but the communication was always there from Phil and ultimately as a customer whose home and life savings are in the hands of a stranger - communication and trust is key. I cant fault them there. The standard of the work was very high quality, and there were a few chops, changes and additions that we decided upon last minute which Phil and the team took in their stride and delivered upon. I would recommend this firm to anyone, and we will more than likely instruct them on any future works we do to our home. Thank you Phil and team.

Chirton Building Company has just finished a small extension to Upavon Chapel which is a Grade II Listed Building. The work done is of excellent quality and we are really pleased with the finished results. It was a tricky site due to the proximity of a graveyard at a higher level, but Phil and his team sorted out all the challenges in a professional way. They also showed great care in protecting the chapel itself at all times. Thank you for a good job well done!

Phil Newman and his team are a first rate building outfit with a real specialisation in cellar conversions. They converted an 800 sq foot cellar from a damp space that could not be used for anything other than wine storage to a superb home cinema, gym and utility space incorporating natural light, an innovative removable staircase balustrade, totally waterproof tanking and ventilation to every room. The price was super value for money, Phil's team of Richard, Martin and Simon are A grade craftsmen and always cheerful. Phil is very honest and professional. I am delighted with their work and its added huge value to our house and the way we live in it. I cannot recommend Chirton builders highly enough.

We have had significant work done on our old cottage over many years by Chirton Building Company. From significant structural rebuilding and dampproofing, through new windows and external doors, to new heating system (including underfloor), plumbing, electrics, insulation on solid walls, replacement floor tiling, painting and decorating. Throughout, Chirton Building Co have been excellent. Very good communication at all times, very good and conscientious workmanship, all carried out in sympathy with the building. We would thoroughly recommend without reservation.

After we were let down by two other Builders we found Chirton. Phil was very helpful and Richard and Martin and cleaned up after work everyday.The whole team were professional, respectful and polite. Great stuff!! Not too expensive and he got the Work done on my driveway in a good timeframe and it was completed to a very high standard. Absolutely chuffed. Already booked him in for next summer to level out my back garden lawn.

Matthew removed a window and created space for a new front door with side panels. All work was completed to a high quality and on time. What impressed me most was the time taken to ensure no damage was done to all parts of the house and driveway, and the fact that they always cleaned up before they left at the end of the day. I will definitely use Matthew again and would recommend him and his teams work to anyone.

Mathew done a natural indian sand stone patio in my own house and a few steps, this was to a very high standard. Mathew and the boys are very highley qualified trades men.

I would not recommend using this company. After paying to have a water leak fixed it is still leaking and when i ask them to return to take another look at it they say next week every time.I have done this 5 times.
