About Oxford Town Hall Opened by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales on 12 May 1897, Oxford Town Hall is a Victorian Grade II* listed building which hosts over 2,000 events throughout the year. It is located in the heart of Oxford and is home to the Museum of Oxford, the Town Hall Café and is the administrative base of Oxford City Council.
