Checkers is a family run traditional DIY retailer. Our knowledgeable team of staff are always on hand to help. We sell items from the tiniest nuts and bolts, through to the most inspirational wallpapers, paints, fabulous fabrics and household items, to complete kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and much more. Established in 1980 we believe in friendly service and advice, and have a broad range of products and services, whatever the size of your project. As well as all your DIY needs, we also install kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and sliding wardrobes, plus if you find the same kitchen elsewhere we guarantee to match the price on a like-for-like basis! Excellent local DIY shop. Has brilliant stock and knowledgable staff. Prices very cheap for much better quality items and availability than the alternatives in this town.
