Tyres in UK

I've always got my tyres from here for years but today's experience has left me totally disgusted and I will never be returning...my mot was due and i knew my drivers side rear tyre was needing changing so i went to Victoria tyres and asked them to change that tyre and check all the others. i was advised the front passenger was low but the others were fine so i gave the go ahead for the front passenger and the rear drivers side to be changed. I then went to my mot only to be told my rear driver had failed as it was below 1.6mm...i rang Victoria tyres to be told they'd swapped the front drivers to the rear and put the new tyres on the front both sides, funny no one explained that to me when it was done and I find it quite hard to believe!

No appointment necessary, dealt with immediately on arrival, swiftly and competently. Service first class and you can't say that about many places these days.

I needed a new tyre due to a bolt thru my nearside front and the guys at Tyrewise took my car in as soon as I arrived and made the change to a £49 new tire that works fine and was switched easily, quickly and with no hassle. They made sure they told me not to forget my wheel locking nut before I took off so I didn't have to drive back and ask them for it. Very helpful and thoughtful ! Excellent experience. This garage has looked after my Volvo regular service and repairs, and have kept it in perfect condition for all my needs. Wheel came loose after 15 miles on wife's car. Tyre pressures also wrong. Could have resulted in wife and baby being involved in a serious accident. No appology from company.

I came to have a new tyre fitted as mine wasn't going to pass the mot, they did that but failed to tell me that the wheel had a crack in it so two weeks later I'm back with a flat tyre to then be told I have a crack in my wheel which wasn't picked up the first time they changed the tyre why I don't know I have now got another flat tyre which I've gone to my local tyre place to be told that the same wheel in the same place has a crack in he's recommended me to someone he knows to welder it AGAIN who has informed me that the first job wasn't done properly and not only that but I now need ANOTHER new tyre as it has been shredded so I will most definitely NOT be EVER coming back to Croxley tyres nor recommending ANYONE I know to them ever

Friendly place, nothing to much trouble and good advice given on best tyres at a fair price.
