    We had Jake straighten an old existing fence not fitted by them, and replace a run of 12 bays with new featheredge panels and slotted posts with gravel boards. They've been in for a couple of years now, and still look great. Had family have work done by him also, and no complaints. Even when things didn't quite go according to plan, he sorted it out without fuss. Always on time, polite and professional.

    Very poor workmanship. Had to call them back twice as the overlap slats did not overlap. We could see straight through to the neighbours. When I contacted Jake he was extremely rude and confrontational. We also had a gate fitted which I had not used until a few weeks after he had returned to remedy our original issue (not resolved to my satisfaction). Die to his precious attitude I close not to contact him about the gate. I have recently had some work done in my garden and the contractor said the gate was very shoddy work and to contact Broadhurst fencing to put right. I did this but had no response from Jake. Avoid this company. They are not even cheap but charged a very high price for this work which I expected to be of a high standard.

      Just to clarify a few things. In the last few months we have had our business page hacked so we have no access to our Facebook page or profile, I’ve tried to gain access but cannot. Also, our work van has been stolen in November so we’ve only just managed to get back to work. This review alone speaks volumes about the character of the customer and is testament to their personality. She failed to mention the manner in which she originally conversed with me, whilst I was on holiday. Despite this, arrangements were made for us to rectify any issues. I believe that the description of my personality is unfair, and I’m sure other customers would agree this is an unfair representation. To address the ‘shoddy’ workmanship. We fit approximately 35 pressure treated boards for each 3 meter section. Considering most suppliers only put 19 boards in a 1.8m section, 35 boards is plenty of overlap. We also fire the boards in with a compressed nail gun at 100 psi. The boards had warped, and we tried to rectify this by applying more boards within the sections. The gate was a heavy tongue and groove gate from a reputable supplier. We used black powder coated gate furniture and hand painted the gate in an oil based paint. Gates and timber do slightly drop when they weather, this is a very simple fix. If the customer would have contacted us through any of the 3 methods displayed on the invoice or the quotation then she would have got through to us with ease. We would of then offered to repair or rectify any issues (regardless of how many times) within our 12 month warranty guarantee. Slanderous reviews like this can be frustrating. However we take great pride in our ‘workmanship’ and this is represented by the great majority of excellent feedback we have from our customers and credit to those, as the majority of our work comes from recommendations.

    Awesome work on my back fence gate, works perfect and looks great. Jake communicated throughout, didn't stop for a break and turned up when promised. 10/10 would definitely reccomend and have already done so for a number of friends.

    I've never met a more genuine, kind and understanding professional gentleman before. He came and did the job he promised and didn't even take a break. He built us a gate perfectly cutting through the slab. Building posts and building the gate on site. It was truly magnificent and admirable. Thank you for your great work Ibrahim
