David previously worked at Phillips Auction House, Bond Street, London in the early 1970s. He then established an antiques business in Edinburgh and worked in Scotland for 5 years. He moved to the Cotswolds over 20 years ago, and opened trade and retail premises in Montpellier and Great Norwood Street, Cheltenham.
