The Rothen Group has over 20 years extensive experience maintaining inland waterways, especially for the Canal & River Trust. We specialise in advising and undertaking marine, civil and environmental engineering. Our services include dredging, sheet piling and bank protection through to bridge inspections, reed clearance and general maintenance. We work closely with the Environment Agency. We have a large fleet of vessels and plant for hire. These range in size and application and can be fitted with specialist equipment enabling them to be tailored for the clients individual needs. We pride ourselves on being able to supply equipment to undertake works in difficult site conditions with restricted access. Our custom built pontoons can be; specialist machine transporters, operating platforms or fitted with a hiab crane. Being modular, these pontoons can easily be transported via a hiab lorry for quick, efficient delivery. Our well trained professional staff deliver a high quality of work helping us achieve good term client relationships. Our extensive experience of inland waterways is readily available to clients and our proactive approach at the planning stage has helped our clients deliver more cost effective and time efficient projects. LP Diving is a small dive business established by Lance Palmer. Based in the Staffordshire & West Midlands 10 years + ago, serving the diving community with on site equipment servicing and repairs. All work is carried out by ASSET - IDEST - UKAS - SABRE Qualified Technician in a fully equipped workshop. The business was relocated to a larger premises in October 2009 and is now based in the picturesque and tranquil countryside setting of Pillaton Hall Farm (visit website) Collection & delivery currently available for areas in and around Stafford, Cannock, Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Stoke On Trent, Nantwich, Crewe. Enjoy our high quality Fair trade Organic Coffees, Speciality Teas, Hot Chocolate, Smoothies & Milkshakes. Sample some of our delicious home baking while enjoying the stunning views across the water to the island of Eigg. If you are lucky you might spot an otter or a seal playing in the Harbour. Arisaig, known as the Gateway to the Small Isles, is also the perfect sheltered base for private yachts / crafts wishing to explore the inner and outer Hebrides or taking advantage of the plentiful anchorages within a days sail. Moorings and Winter storage are available by contacting the Harbour Office. All cuises are weather and circumstances permitting so it is worth checking the local forecast before travelling any distance.
