I signed up with shaping homes as a kitchen fitter.we were sent to do the final finishings on a kitchen.Nothing was fitted correctly,units weren't level ,tiles and trim incorrect ,attention to detail really poor,and on top of helping them complete the job they didn't pay us.basically con men ,they make they're money from the units so basically don't really care about making a good job.crooks shouldn't be trading

They came, they charged me money, they sent in the fitters who demolished my old kitchen and charged me money. The old kitchen was dragged into the street and left to rot for two weeks. The worktop was sent but it wasn't ours. Ours was sent to another address. Work stopped when the supply chain stopped and the fitters left for another job. We had no sink, no drinking water, no oven, no hob for nearly two months. When the oven was fitted, it was wedged in on some scrap bits of stick, no surround trim was fitted. The hob was connected and I had to pay an extra £250 out of pocket. The fridge and dishwasher doors were fitted back to front. In all, there are 20 snagging issues that need attending to. I have sent emails and I have posted photographic evidence of the apparently abandoned work to them. I have made phone calls where they promise to finish the contract but they put nothing in writing. And now it looks like they have shut up shop, and not for the first time either?

Terrible! Have nothing to do with these people; they owe me a refund which after 7 months of chasing; has yet to materialise. Had to employ another company to redo their shoddy work. Avoid like the plague!
