About Us
Gray & Bull is the oldest independent opticians in Nottingham. It was established in 1806. Until 1939 it went by the name of Gray & Selby. Based on Pelham Street (just off Clumber Street where it meets with High Street) at the start of the fashionable Hockley/Lace Market and Creative Quarter within Nottingham City Centre. Focus is always on providing a truly comprehensive and personal eye-care and eye-wear service that offers patients and clients the reassurance that their eye sight and spectacles are being looked after by qualified Dispensing Opticians, Optometrists (Ophthalmic Opticians) and support staff. For over a century, Gray & Bull has served people from all around the world and not just the UK and regularly continues to see clients from neighbouring Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Newark and Sheffield. Gray & Bull offers both Private and NHS eye examinations (eye tests) and also provides a comprehensive contact lens fitting, supply and after-care service.
