In a glorious rural setting with spectacular long distance views to the Trossachs, this delightful converted steading enjoys a very convenient location, being within 45 minutes drive of Edinburgh, Perth, Stirling and Glasgow. Our self catering holiday cottages are situated in a quiet setting on a private estate. Forming two sides of an attractive courtyard, opposite the owner's home, there are 2 4 star self catering holiday cottages.

Talkin Head is a hill farm in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The old farm buildings have been converted into seven specially designed holiday cottages now called Long Byres. Each cottage is self-contained, warm, (centrally heated, double glazed) with lovely views; some looking across the Lake District hills.
