About Us
The law firm Ward & Rider Solicitors was founded in 1948 by two ex-servicemen, Mr Norman Ward LLB and Mr William Henry Rider LLB. A newspaper article of the time stated that both men were from Coventry and were "born o'er the bridge", which is an old Coventry saying for people who were born in the Foleshill area of the City. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the firm in 2008, The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of the City presented a "memorial plaque" in recognition of the firm's 60 years of service to the people of Coventry and the Midlands. In the 65 years since the firm was established, it has developed an ongoing reputation for quality and excellence and for providing individuals and their families with a legal service that they can trust. Our Managing Director comments: "At Ward & Rider Solicitors we respect the past, but we recognise that the requirements of our customers are always changing. The legal sector is constantly evolving and we are committed to being at the forefront of it. Ward & Rider Solicitors are passionate about providing our clients with an outstanding service, delivered with all the efficiencies of modern day working practices." But one thing remains constant, trust. Individuals and families across Coventry and the Midlands still trust Ward & Rider to deliver outstanding legal services, just as they did 65 years ago.
